You know when you use the control stick and the c stick to do your down aerial without lag, is it fast enough to land a quick grab?

How risky is it exactly? Does it leave you with alot of lag?

The real question here is can you hit someone shield with the Dair and not get shield grabbed.

Don't do it against Marth at least. That's asking for you to eat an Up-B.
That's assuming that the person is waiting for their shield to be eaten by a D-air. It's so slow anyone could see it coming and react with something else if they were competent enough.
At least if you're Ganondorf doing this, you'll do a ton of shield damage...
