Are there any helpful tricks to getting the hang of double lasering?

Yeah, use tap jump. I am like 99.9% consistent with fast/clean double lasering using tap jump. Its what M2k uses also.

M3K uses tap jump. I thought he used X anyway I use to use the tap jump Method and it was pretty good but hard to move around with

My Method is sliding my thumb from Y to B like a multishine

Just get more comfortable with short hopping, practice using Nair as soon as possible when you short hop to learn the time you can react.

I just bump either X or Y and mash B until I land.

Also there are many times when a short hop laser is better because you still have tons of movement options.
