Easy edgehog.

I was messing around the other day, and found if you do a short hopped auto-rar with the B-stick, you can immediately use the ropesnake for an easy, and quick edgehog. It's not exactly instant, because you still need to press another button to get the invincibility frames. Not sure if anyone knows this, but just posting it.

It's been known, but proven to be just about as quick as a basic speed hug.
