imo the .gif's would be better if each frame would delete the last frame's image.

Effective Hitboxes vs Standard Hitboxes

The last frame shows the total area covered by the hitboxes. However, I still have to guess the characters movement on the frames without hitboxes.
Would be more accurate if the frame pics were recorded with a fixed camera.

those animations were amazing. thank you guys so much for showing me these.
i wish ganon had falcons speed. his fair would have such a massive effective hitbox. it makes me smile just to think about it.
