When it's down to the wire, you should probably be thinking a little bit more
stratigically to avoid these types of situations. when you go to d-air someone,
it's always a good idea to make sure your timing is perfect (yes, perfect).
bad judgement is always what ends up causing people to lose (or just the
uncontrollable need to finish the match in an "epic" way, so to speak)

This happens to my Falcon all the time...

1.Knock opponent offstage at low %

2. Knee them in the face.

3.Run, attempt meteor.

4.Fail/Miss meteor attempt.

5.Attempt recovery.

6.Either get edge-hogged, edge-guarded, or meteor smashed myself....

Read and belive, the six steps to faliure...

I hate it because it costs me great matches, especially over laggy wi-fi.
I have to time BEFORE the opponent is in the right place because of lag.
And if u miss, the opponent will have the upper hand if they dont miss theirs....

I get baited all the time, but it's always but something stupid like an Fsmash I would've normally sheilded if I was comfortabally in the lead.

I get stupid near the end of any match.

When it gets down to the wire you should always be trying to out think your opponent. Baiting is about all you can do if you don't want to die.

It's kinda scary too...those moments make me wanna stop doing Epic stuff and just play defensively

Yeah, it's how I lose a bunch of my matches. Then, when it's over, I think "why did I go for that?"

Cuz I was mindgamed. Can't really blame myself too much. Or maybe I can. Meh.

the only person you CAN blame getting mind gamed on is yourself.

Speaking of Baiting... i always hate it when Someone fights my CF with mario...

he hits me of the stage.
wait till I Up-b

then cape my falcon *** to Death...

Gimping with his cape makes me learn how to play defensively...

so sometimes these situations can play to your advantage.(learning to strengthen your weaknesses)

but the argument was that it sucks when it matters.
during the middle of a tourney is not the time to be
"learning from mistakes" XD

I never get gimped.

Also, but the measures that win lose, I also win by. Like, I once won a match with a reverse Bair with Sonic, it was pretty awesome the way I led up to it, but still, a reverse Bair, really? O.o

ahahaha you're right. well I do have moments of "All stakes 1 stock left, mindgame fest"
and it's a 50:50 ratio win/lose for me and my friends...

i hate these moments, but it's in these moments we manage to pull of great killer moves...

and then we save the replay and have a great time reliving it.

then the next time we get into this situation the one who tries to repeat his former "winning move" dies due to the former loser expecting it

and that, dear friends, is the cruel circle of life.

I gimped Blaze(ONCE), he never gimped me.

Only time I get "gimped" is if I just jump off, or do something stupid when I'm not trying, in all honesty, it never has to do with the other player's actions, just me being dumb. So I guess I gimp myself if that makes sense.

P.S. If I try, I play better than Blaze.

One time I almost got gimped but a recovering Ness at the bottom of Smashville, I was so good I teched the UpB at 100+% sadly, Blaze deleted the video. >_>

;-; aw, I would've wanted to see that.

hah well then you're more likely than not
gonna murder me in the lib.

I JUST got up to blaze's level (or at close enough
to it. Basically, when you're not there, I come in
second [in ****ty FFAs] and when blaze isn't
playing, I come in first. When you're there together
I'm pretty much screwed lol)

Blaze said that if he lets you, you will outspace, and **** him. He told me he has to try against you, whihc he can't say for many people, actually, he said that I was the only person he had to try against, TK, you've improved vastly.

Blaze actually said he wanted to train you. So it won't be long before you're better than me. ^^;

My steps to failure :/

1: F-smash them off if i get lucky for it to hit.
2: attempted to F-air
3:if i fail attempt recovery but i get stuck under the little part sticking out
4: attempt c4 recovery but accidently fast fall or the c4 doesnt explode in time.

Although doing something epic kinda brings you to a point where you forget all the mistakes you've done. Whether I miss the hit or not, I'll keep striving to be epic no matter what.
You miss the shot? Then try again. Decide to be defensive in the ledge? Pft gay

Be Manly :V think Kamina

Attempting an Up B spike with King Dedede is cool.
You shouldn't try spiking to much. Diddy can, and chars like ROB can, but with Marth its better to edgeguard with Fair..

Yeah, that used to happen to me all the time when I mained Marth.

Even when I play a character who can spike, I never spike anymore. To be honest, I've never been good at it in the first place. xD

If I get KO'd early, like a gimp or just a stupid mistake, it tends to throw me off for the rest of the match, although sometimes I can come back from it :D

My worst failures come from trying to Dededecide someone when I'm at a high percent and I either time it wrong or they catch on and dodge away just in time, I know I can come back up from it sometimes but others I'm just too far down to get back up D:<

Its like on last life, whenever the opponent hits 100ish%, he releases a strange aroma that makes you think about all those epic youtube videos with spikes... then the match is over.
