The last picture make Triple-D seem like he's Swimming. Maybe there is swimming.

There is swimming, you can move in water for a limited time. To put a pic in your post, 'go advanced' and hit the insert image button. Paste the url and you're done.

You can't swim in Melee so of course it's not the same as in Brawl

On topic, I doubt the extended grapple is in, seeing how it was taken out of the PAL version of the game (I think...)
