it's more the fact there isnt enough room to host a tournament with outside people. These are done in crammed dorm rooms that can barely even fit the people inside of it. Honestly I would kill for them to advertise these tournaments because I enjoy playing the better players since that's really the only way you can truly get better. Also they have tournament fees but the money goes to video game club for the fgcu sponsored trip to apex to help pay things like entrance fee and what not.

We just need to find a bigger venue and then we could host some good tournaments. I mean its not that far away from some places being 2 hours away from miami, 2 hours from tampa, and 3 1/2 hours from Orlando.

Viper doesn't host these anymore.
He took a semester off. It's completely the VGC at FGCU's responsibility now.
Viper just drove from Auberndale.

all of fl beside fgcu members are banned from these tournaments with the exception of mink because he's a former fgcu member. Sax showed up one time and they wouldn't let him enter.

I didn't know that CFL smash was wanting for more tournaments. I wouldn't mind having a smash tourney/fest at my place. I could maybe host one or two at my apartment later this year before Apex as sort of a training for the event. I will have to talk to my roommate but I am thinking late October and after school lets out around mid-December.
