Smash 3DS for some reason my replays arent being saved even though I have space on my sd card can someone help

it's weird cos they were saving as late as October 24 2016 online and now they won't save as of yesterday and I tried again they don't save. did Nintendo disable replays cos the 3ds is becoming obsolete to the switch. can anyone help?
