By normal hop double laser, I think you mean normal hop triple laser.

And I have no idea what the difference between all those shine cancels are.

I was all set to direct you to the Fox guide, but dial-up is no fun at all. I go "search!" and the search function is all like "**** you" and kicks me in the face with its energy legs.
