Er, I gotta try this out. I think it's to do with the crazy speed Yoshi travels at when the stage spins.

i dont know if this has been said before, but anyway...
if you hang on the left ledge while it turns (unsure if it is with both stages) and you are slowly getting up, you will get star KOed (at least i died that way once)
so does this mean that you stay on-stage while it moves through the top blast zone resulting in a star ko

I got flipped off the top blastzone for the third time last Saturday in tournament.
