It's in a plaza with a grocery store on the right.
Registration: 12:00 pm - 1:00 pm (Don't come earlier, noone will be there)
Doubles will be first followed by a break followed by singles for both events
Cost:
Venue fee: $5
Singles: $10 per person
Doubles: $10 ($5 per person)
Schedule:
Sunday: Melee singles/doubles
Open at noon, doubles starts at 1pm. Singles will be held after doubles is over with a break in between for food etc.
Venue fee in detail:
Venue fee waived if a tv above 22" with gc/wii and melee is brought. If you bring a tv below 22" with gc/wii and melee you get half off the venue price. Only applicable to the first 8 people that bring a full setup.
Snacks/Food: For snacks, store has candy and sodas, and there is a grocery store to the left and a pizza place to the right.

stage strike is as follows:
1-2-2-1
SETS:
best of 3 except winners, losers, grand finals which will be best of 5. This may be subject to change depending on numbers we pull. If there is a great turnout then sets for cash may be set to best of 5. regardless of the latter we WILL pay out top 5 at every singles tourney.
POOLS:
In the case that there are pools. They are to be standard and adjusted given the turnout. Tie breakers will be broken as follows:
1. head -to- head
2. individual game win loss ratio

Dave's Modified Stupid Rule: No stage may be used twice in a single set
if the player choosing already won on that stage unless otherwise agreed upon.
Random Knock-Out: Each player may choose to ban a counterpick and strike a neutral at the beginning of the set(can't go to the counterpick, but you can still go to the neutral stage after the first game) alternatively, you can ban 1 neutral stage at the beginning of the set.
Advanced Slob Picks: Loser may choose the next stage or elect to go
random, then winner may choose to change characters, then loser may change characters
Double blind for character selection may be used if a player wants to.
Wobbling is allowed.

Controller mods of ANY kind (short-hop mod, L-trigger mod, etc),
except for cosmetic changes (paint job, different colored plastic), are
banned. If you are caught using a banned controller you will be
disqualified from the tournament.
Turbo or programmed buttons of any kind are banned. You may use
third party controllers or pads that have these features, but if you
are suspected of using the banned features you will not be allowed to
use that controller any longer.
Tactics such as Peach's Wallbombing and Jiggly's Rising Pound are
allowed as methods of recovery or to manuever around the stage. Using
them (or any similar tactics) to excessively stall a match, such as
droping below levels intentionally and stalling underneath, is banned.
Judges will be on the tournament floor can be called in at any time to
enforce this rule during a match.
You are responsible to BRING YOUR OWN CONTROLLER.
