Smash Champion
Part of the fun of Brawl is that there are many universes in it, and many characters have good backgrounds.
I like to look at characters who come from the same universe and look at similarities.
This thread is a fun thread to list some common characteristics characters from the same universe have. Universes with only one representative are out.. sorry Snake.
Something that EVERY SINGLE representative from the universe has is much cooler than something two of them share. Let's try to start with only allowing things that apply to the whole universe, maybe we can do others later.
In no particular order:
Mushroom Kingdom (Wario, Luigi, Mario, Peach, Bowser, Yoshi.. good luck!):
DK Universe (better name anyone?):
both DK and diddy have glide toss and epic D-air spiking and multiple attacks that spike in their moveset
Both DK and diddy have clapping moves.
Lylat System Universe (R.O.B. is NOT in here):
All three have a reflector down-special.
All three have a blaster.
All three are animals.
Talk during taunts.
Have a stage specific taunt.
Landmaster!
Fire Emblem Universe:
Blue hair, blue eyes.
Both have counters, Fsmash=swing the sword over their head and hit people in front of them
Pokemon Universe:
All pokemon
Dreamland Universe:
All have ad infinitem jabs. (as opposed to a finite jab combo)
Hyrule Universe:
All have a downsmash that hits in front, then behind.
Onnett Universe (help with name):
Psychic float for a second jump.
PK fire, Pk thunder, and PSI Magnet.
Both have rapid, low damage downtilts.
Samus Universe (? should be included?):
Charge-up projectile B move.
Tell me if i forgot one! Let's start.
