Welcome to the Ash Ketchum for Multiversus Thread:

Who is Ash Ketchum:
As some of you may know Ash Ketchum is the former main portagist of the Pokemon anime, His tenure with the anime running from 1997-2023, Having a childhood dream all his life to become a Pokemon Trainer, Ash woke up late on the day he was supposed to be a Pokemon Trainer, left with no choice but to leave Professor Oaks lab with a at that time disobedient Pikachu, together these 2 friends would travel the world together, catching Pokemon, Battling Pokemon, making friends with a ton of people, and losing Pokemon Leagues along the way, over time Ash learned all there is to know about Pokemon Training, and eventually he would win the Pokemon League in the Alola region, and in his latest adventure in Pokemon Journeys, Ash competed in the Pokemon World Coordination Series battling his way to the top, and after defeating the previously undefeated champion Leon would earn the title of World Monarch, With nothing else really to do Ash rode into the sunset after 26 years to hand the torch over to Pokemon Horizons and it's new main portagist Liko.

Is there History with WB?:

Yes quite a bit actually, Despite at heart being a Nintendo character, Nintendo let WB Kids and Subsequently Cartoon Network owned the full airing rights to the Episodes and Movies of the Pokemon anime from 1997 to 2016(19 Years to be exact), and WB's sister company Universal Studios are budling Nintendo themed lands in their theme parks, Pokemon being among the franchises likely for Universal to bulid a land for next, Plus he's been in a ton of WB commercials too from one with Batman and Robin playing Pokemon cards, to even Superman beating the crap out of the series' trio of goofy villains Team Rocket.

How would he work in Mulitverus?:

You remember Pokemon Trainer in Super Smash Bros Brawl and Ultimate? He'd work like him, switching out between 4 different Pokemon mid battle instead of 3 though, each representing a different Pokemon typing, Charizard representing Fire, Gerninja representing Water, Sceptille representing Grass, and Pikachu representing Electric, their attacks representing various moves learned by their lines in the Pokemon series such as Leaf Blade, Flamethrower, Water Shuriken, and of course Thunderbolt.

Ideas for Stages:
Professor Oaks Lab or Wyndom Stadium.

Why Ash Ketchum?:
Pokemon has became a worldwide phenomena, It's the highest grossing media franchise in the entire world for a reason, It's games are among the highest selling on their respective consoles, and we have seen it grow into many things, Spinoffs, MOBAs, Crossovers(Even one with Tekken once), and one of the most successful mobile apps of all time in Pokemon Go, It's anime has also became one of the most well known shows in the history of the Anime culture, and I'm not talking like Fairy Tale big, I'm talking JoJo, Dragon Ball, Naurto, and One Picce big, so big in fact you could ask some random person on the street and quite a few would be able to sing the first verse of it's iconic theme song, and of course if he was included some of his interactions with the rest of the roster would be amazing.

Thank You and I hope you consider joining our cause to bring Ash and his Pokemon friends to MultiVersus

A thread for a character who is sorta starting to losse relevancy and one most don't associate with WB(Even with 19 years of Legacy with them) yeah this might take a bit to get supporters
