I just went there today. aside from a few posters, the place is closed and completely cleared out. If I can find a venue, I would like to try and host some.

this was usually the closest tournament to my house, so it's disappointing in a way but also still not because they charged too much money for their events and payed for it in the end. They could've charged 10 for venue between the 2 events and kept people registering but the community shrunk it didn't grow because you had to shell out 50 dollars to play singles and doubles (20 venue fee by default)

I really want to go to Cot5 but I failed to convince my parents on letting me go. It's a 2-4 hour drive and they aren't up to taking me.
Guess I'll have to wait until something new pops up. =/

CoT5 may not even be in PA. At this rate, if it was held in PA, it would be a one-day event.
For 2 days, it would have to be in South Jersey.

Id rather it be two days. The extra hour drive is worth it for the 2 days imo.

On a more related note to getting a new tournament scene, i'm looking for possible venues. The only thing I need to know is why should that company / place let us do the tournament there? What will that bring them? Do they get 10% of the tournament pot?

I voted for 2 days as well, but I doubt I'll be able to go, either way.
My dad was already hesitant on taking me to CoT5 in PA, so yeah (Plus, I might be on vacation starting on that weekend).
The only reason I wanted to go was because I thought my cousins might have been able to house me in Philly.On-topic, I hope you guys get some more tourneys running.
