As for Evan and Roy, you guys need to play me. I have some new tricks to test, and seeing how you two are the least to fall for my tricks, this will be good practice. Also, I just realized I am pretty difficult to edgeguard.

thank you much for the set-back, i'm gonna be on a cruise the original date, and now im really lookin forward to it. theres only no competition around here, only free-for-alls and crappy tournaments (like the 5 person tournament i went to today, at least it was an easy $20) so i cant wait to play some real players

As much as i hate brawl(slow paced ,laggy online,lack of character mobility)........its the future. Melee is dead and it will be played less and less as the weeks/months go on. As the leader of Houston, im going to promote brawl as much as possible because its a new game and its the future of smash, face it.

At this tournament, there will ZERO GCNs. if you bring one, u will NOT BE ALLOWED to hook it up. Melee will not be played at this tournament(we need all tvs for brawl because its so slow). IN THE FUTURE, i will do melee/brawl tournies but not right now. So, again. do not bring a cube. Bring brawl,wii and tv for a reduced entry fee.

I'm sorry to everyone who I told to stay into this game. I've been playing it since Feb.8.2008, a little over a month. As most of you may or may not know, I'm pretty good at it, which may shock most of you when I say I'm quitting Brawl. Its just genially not a good game. This game was never meant to be played in a tournament or high skilled environment and the proof is in the history of this game:

Why make dash dancing harder?
Why take out L-canceling?
Why remove wave dashing?
Why make it virtually impossible to kill most characters recoveries?
Why remove crouch canceling?
Why slow down the game down?
Why the long boring adventure mode?
Why the bland hit and miss VS. mode?
This game was meant for people who cant think, this game was made so everyone could have a chance at winning. I hate this game. I really do. I put so much time in Melee just so I could have this crappy game put in front of me?

You people, can keep playing this game fooling yourselves trying to believe this game is fun. But we both know its not, this game will never satisfy anyone who ever played Melee and even heard of wave dashing. Some sign of hope inside of me wants to keep this game because mabey just mabey someone somewhere will find a way to L-Cancel and then we can mabey have a way of actually playing this game. That will never happen, and this is why I'm done. If some how, by some miracle someone actually does figure out an advanced tactic to keep me in this game, I'll return. Till then cya.

Also for the record I beat Hylian... so whats your point? Am I the best Toon Link in the world? I'm not trying to boast of anything I'm simply just saying that in this game I strongly believe anyone will be able to beat anyone...

But anyways, the reaso why all that stuff ha sbeen taken away is that the Wii is a system that ANYBODY can pick up and play. My GF works in a nursing hom and the 85+ year old people play it. its super easy to play any game on the wii. SSBB is no exception. it was made to be easier than melee so people can pick it up an immediatly do OK in a match. 2ndly, sakurai DID NOT like what we did with melee. Just take a look at the techs we abused to climb the lader in melee and now look and see if its in brawl.....its not. Case proven.

For me, brawl is horrible. I will still run/host/attend tournaments but i ask u guys to continue forth and play brawl......its bad yes but its the future.

And again,kyuu.......its WHO YOU beat. you beat hylina, neat. You DIDNT beat HugS,Rohin,Xyro and DYnaDash.....who are all very good players. So again, you fail....jake.

but i still feel that brawl is horrible...whether or not this sakurai guy decided to make it like that or not...melee was amazing and because of it i met alot of people...it kinda hard to let go ya know?

Every time I play this game I throw up in my mouth a bit. This game is terrible and if this is the future of smash, I am selling my Wii. This future you speak of, does it have people with down syndrome being pros? I mean Nintendo took a perfectly wonderful game and dumbed it down enough a 4 year old could be good at it... Is this what Nintendo had in mind? If the Wii wasn't the cheapest console, I would bet it would be in dead last as far as sales.
