I haven't seen any discussion as to how latency tends to affect ness or other online factors as they relate to him, so perhaps that discussion could go here.

The latency affects my ability to PKT2 accurately and time bairs. I never play as Ness on wifi.

I don't know about a blue-dot connection, though. I've only ever had up to green.

After a while playing shaky (probably an hour or so) the initial screen lag was no problem, but we still had a bit of input lag. I think regardless there's always going to be the input lag.

input lag is the latency. When you press a button, it gives you a set number of frames before the input has an effect. In other words, slow moves become pseudo fast, at least in terms of reaction. The jerky kind of lag comes and goes with internet connection.

Ness's bat is better in wifi because people shouldn't be able to react to it; prediction plays a bigger role since most moves can't be avoided/shielded on reaction.

I play with the ethernet cord through the adapter on my wii, if that is what you're asking Carvac, and it feels about the same (though I have crappy internet :S)
