How can I improve my Luigi?

Sorry to make my first post here a video post, but I'm really curious.
I decided to pick up Luigi to help deal with anything my Zelda can't handle, and I was hoping I could get some pointers that are more unique to the way I already play the character.
If this sort of post isn't really accepted, feel free to move or delete it. I was gonna post it in the Luigi Q&A thread, but wasn't sure it would get noticed there.

Use WAY less rolls, and use shields and air dodges. Use less jabs, and use more airs, throws, down special, and up special. And general combos.

Just from watching 40 seconds in, Dash attack is not a good way to approach.
