The first one has you use all five characters cut in the transaction from Melee to Brawl (Dr. Mario, Young Link, Roy, Mewtwo and Pichu)
The second one has you use all five characters cut in the transaction from Brawl to Smash 4 (Ice Climbers, Wolf, Snake, Pokémon Trainer and Lucas, who is included to keep the games 5v5). Charizard is unavailable in this mode, so Pokémon Change as Ivysaur switches back to Squirtle.
The third one has you use the five DLC pack 1 characters, and would be the only time you could use DLC characters without purchasing them.
Rulesets are 5 stock 10 minutes with team attack on, available in 1v1 or 2v2. Only available stages are Smashville, Town and City, Battlefield, Final Destination and the following stages (who turn hazards off if chosen): Pokémon Stadium 2, Unova and Kalos Pokemon Leagues, Wily Castle (with moving platforms but not boss), Mario Circuit Wii U (platform does not move), Skyloft and Delfino Plaza (platform does not move)
