Personally, i vote for Samus.

Samus and Zelda are complete polar opposites in terms of actual characters, yet Zelda has at least as much (if not more) firepower than Samus clad in her Power Suit. Of course it could just be me who finds the idea of a Medieval and a Futuristic character teaming up together highly appealing. I also find it to be less of a cliche than i find an Ike pairing to be.

falco sounds like Raphael from tmnt lol but still falco sounds pretty cool all voice's are nice bit mk caught me off guard he sounds like Darth Vader with some kind of an accent its pretty cool. and pit sound like he's about to go through puberty lol

Fox: 7/10 I've heard infinitely worse, despite the cheesy lines.

Metaknight: 9/10 Russian accent is cool.

Pit: 3/10 I don't think that the unintentionally hilarious dialogue mixed well with the voice. Less cheesy lines would be great, Nintendo. Still, it's the voiceactor's job to make the line more convincing while keeping it realistic; Pit's voice seemed to try too hard in my opinion.

Ike: 5-6/10 Maybe he should try talking a little slower. I can picture him with that voice, but I suppose it could be a little manlier. I could get used to it, though.

Falco: 7-8/10 Like Fox, I've heard worse. Could take a little getting used to, though.

Over all, I remain convinced that english voiceacting kills brain cells if you've heard the japanese voiceacting beforehand.

I really didn't think Pit's was THAT bad.
You have to hear a few times to get a feel for it.
Although, it does sound VERY feminine sometimes.
Ike's was the one that had me saying "what?"
It's not bad. I just expected it to be a bit deeper.
I still like it.

I just can't wait to hear Wolf's and Dedede's D:

I really do hope we get at least one line for Zelda. It could happen, i mean it happened for Zamus/Samus, this may be the first time we hear her really speak.

in regards to my favourite Zelda incarnation: I has to be Twilight Princess. It's vain but her braids where/are a real breath of fresh air. Not only that but the fact that she got more involved in the final boss battle (s). She is a pretty good aim considering the circumstances. It only made me wonder why Zelda didnt get a hold of the Light Arrows in the beginning and lay waste to Zant there and then

Maybe. I'm hoping that they don't ruin it if they do happen to give her one line. Although, I really do doubt it. I've seen some things about the game that can be considered spoilers. It doesn't seem like there will be a line.

Totally true. She has been the most mature looking/acting Zelda there is. She's sophisticated, if you will. I really like TP Zelda. The boss battle was epic.

Agree completely. I also like the design of her face, and they way they show maturity, innocence, and beauty combined and such. I can't really picture the Melee Zelda's incarnation looking as determined as Brawl's.

Throughout the scenes we saw her, she always seems to be ticking away, thinking, working things out. For example in the scene where wolf link meets up with Zelda in Twilit Hyrule Castle, Zelda is quick to ask why the Shadow Beasts are after Midna, catching her off guard.

She's always planning and working things out beforehand, i think some of that has carried onto Zelda's fighting style in Brawl, i.e mindgaming. Also i should bring this up, how well does mindgaming work with Farore's Wind in Brawl now? Anyone have any idea?

Yeah. Her face design was what made it perfect. That and her eyes. They were most convincing to me. And Melee's incarnation will NEVER look as sophisticated as Brawl's does. I just can't wait to see what Zelda's next incarnation will look like.

Yes, Zelda is always thinking. But if you think about it, she must have a lot of time to be thinking about it. I don't think she has much of a life. And I don't mean that offensively, if anyone decides to take that so. But yeah, I'm glad they incorporated Universal Zelda's style into Brawl Zelda's style. It makes her look even more sophisticated. Especially next to all those other characters...

- English Squirtle VA is absolutely adorable.

- Zelda speaking would be odd at first. Zelda speaking Japanese would just throw me for a loop (Luthien brought a hilariously good point about her ending up speaking two octaves too high). Upper-class British accent FTW.

- I do like Zelda's Twilight Princess incarnation the best. However, there are elements of OoT Zelda's look that I prefer: the loose hair at the back (no odd half-braid), and the high mandarin-style collar (as opposed to her TP V-neck).

- I think I'd vomit a little if I heard about a Zelda anime. Gimme a live action feature film or a mini series, and I'll be happy.

I just had to comment on this i'm not to sure I would like Zelda to sound British I mean I understand why it would make sense. I dunno it would be weird to me I think. I guess this has to do with never hearing her speak in the first place and you kinda get use to that. Though I would be cool with it if they can pull it off right.

Well, since it's Sunday (the deadline), and most votes are yes, I'm going to go ahead and respond to the other alliance yes. We now have our first alliance! I'll tell you all everything that happens as soon as I find out.

Meh, I think no accent would be totally lame. I mean it wouldn't be bad if they did it right. If they add a very slight British Accent, as noticable as the Spanish in Metaknights, then I would adore it. Assuming it matches, of course.

I've always imagined Zelda with a British accent, of course, a very elegant British accent. In media most Medieval Monarchs speak with a British accent, I think it's just seen as a more elegant way of speech.

I always imagined Link, and Ganon with a NA accent though.

Going back to the topic of Ike's voice: Does anybody know if they used the voice that they used in the US Fire Emblem game... I mean that would probably make the most sense for him. I'm not sure about Zelda having any British accent but I guess it would be cool. As for Sheik shouldnt her voice sound kind of like a guy otherwise I think Link would have enough brains to realize that Sheik wasn't a guy... unless of course Link thought Sheik was a girl all along... that makes me wonder what Link thought Sheik was prior to the revelation that she was Zelda... Any opinions on the matter?

Zelda having a british accent?

Erm... I never thought that. I always imagined her with the voice she had in Melee, since I didn't have a thought before that...

I think Link thought Sheik was a male, because Sheik's voice was always muffled, making her sound more like a guy. Although, maybe he did think Sheik was always a girl... just surprised it was Zelda in the end. XP
