I have a Final in Geometry tomorrow, and I need help remembering some formulas.

What's the formula for the "Law of Cosines"?

What's the formula for the surface area of a prism?

What is the formula for the surface area of a pyrmid?

The formula for the volume of a pyrmid is (one third)X(area of base)X(height) right?

What's the formulas for the surface area and volume of a sphere?

What's the formula for the volume of a circle?

What is slant height, and what shapes is it used for?

How do you find slant height?


That's about all I can think of. If you can answer these questions, or can tell me something else important I should write on my flash cards that I'm allowed to use on the test, that would be greatly appreciated!

What's the formula for the volume of a circle?

This made me laugh. If you mean area of a circle, then pi*r^2. If you mean volume of a sphere, that's been said. Good luck!
