For Ike, it kinda is. :[
Shield stun+Ike's start-up on jump(7 frames)+Bair(fastest aerial, hitbox out on frame 7)=+14 frames most likely.

Shield stun+Shield drop(7 frames)+Jab(hitbox out on frame 3)=+10 frames.

....Ike has poop OoS options. :[
Well....looking at that again, those aren't so bad. lol
Edited with correct data.

So. Jumping past Ike when he's going to upB and sideBing into him when he reaches the top is pretty **** awesome of a gimp.

I think that well-spaced dtilt/tipper ftilt might be useful in this matchup because of the risk associated with getting too close to Ike and getting jabbed. Maintaining proper spacing on the ground really helps since jabs are where Ike will probably be building up the bulk of his damage.

idk if somebody has posted this, but you can prevent him from recoverying to the point that if he is forced to use up b, he should never return to the stage. if you hit him with a laser while he is doing his up b, he will be hit and forced to do it again where you can repeat it. you can also fsmash him at the apex of his jump to trade hits. if done he wont be able to recover past mid percents.

Most Ike's get up with drop>SHAD on stage these days because for Ike it's an easy transition. Is it punishable by being grabbed/dsmash though?

Yes everyone has frames were they are vulnerable from SHADing onto the ground. And if he up b recovers to the ledge shouldn't he have landing penalty SHADing back onto stage?

The problem is that Ike's usually jab when they Shad up or prep to powershield. That's what san did at least.

Your jus missing the timing then, but it is hard to get. They r vulnerable for a little but to be punished though.

Also, Shining there Aether gets a guaranteed dsmash if they choose not to AD when their going back for the ledge. If they AD just repeat over and over. That and I think if they get to their 2nd jab you can jab them and beat it or shield grab em.
