Older than time. Seriously we knew this within two weeks of the game being out. She can also infinite ROB. There's only like one ZSS player in the Midwest. So nobody cared but me. And nobody plays Fox so it didn't matter.

Sorry PCity, but I thought you knew that part of the point of reserving that place was so SRK could have a place for casuals- I honestly thought a lot more smash people were going to show.

I'm not sure why Japan didn't have Chu Chu Rocket leagues or some crap. That game is too good. If you're keeping score at home, I actually won four rounds because the game was reset somehow. Get blown up.

@Ngamer: What is the link to the shoryuken boards that has all the DSM people in it? I'll offer them a place to play on (most) thursdays if their either a) help me setup AND TAKE DOWN or b) pay me :-P. I would prefer they just help, that way I can have more fun. But yeah, if you want to do something like that, PM me so I can know the exact details and such. That way i can try to make arrangements for them etc. I knew YOU were coming, but I didn't know it was a Street Fighter get together.

@Greg: Keep playing brawl! That was the best performance I have seen out of you EVER. Your creativity was unmatched last night, even by me :). dair -> z-drop -> dair too good....watch someone do a bunch of moving and then they run into a hammer WAY too good :-D

@BPx: Keep playing diddy, watch some of my videos I have online, and read the rather verbose descriptions I write. It will help speed up your progress and help you lay off the porno...you know when you WATCH your team mate get ***** by two people at the same time :)

Edit with more specific information now:

There is a Smashfest this Sunday, September 26th at Cornell College (600 First Street SW, Mount Vernon, IA 52314).

The Smashfest starts at 4:00 pm and will end approximately at 11pm. It is going to be held in the lounge of Clock Tower Hall. We currently have three, possibly four full setups. Attendance is currently looks like about 8 people, although we would love to have more. If you plan on coming, just let me know so I know how many people to expect. We'll probably order pizza or do something about dinner at some point, seeing as you can't smash on an empty stomach.

There is a link to a map below. There is a lot behind Clock Tower Hall. This lot is by #38. The lounge is immediately inside the doors by this lot. Come on in and drop off your stuff, then worry about parking. This lot has some visitor parking, but if that is full, there is more parking in the New Hall Parking Lot (#44), or by the Small Sports Center( #2).

I just... just don't like the DWG VAs... I think they kept Master Asia's real voice. well, I just don't remember the voices all that much. I know the SEED/Destiny characters kept their originals / :,

Also if anybody likes SEED; do you know if Lacus' english VA was the Female's little sister's friend in Air Bud... soccer bud? well the soccer air bud. her voice sounded just like Lacus at parts it was weird .-.

Does anyone live in Iowa City (or wherever iowa university is)? Mitchell (Leroy) who plays kirby, as some people may remember from the last monthly that was at sherman's, wants to go to tourneys and smashfests but is too lazy/shy to ask, and doesn't want to drive 2+ hours by himself

Mount Vernon(Zephyros and pals), Cedar Rapids(Ngamer, some other people, and me), and Iowa City(Yink and...?). Those are all pretty close to that general area. We just had a smashfest this past sunday at Cornell College, sorry you didn't know about it sooner but that happens.

If he's willing to drive at most 30 minutes to go to smashfestivities, then we'd probably be able to set something up.

Yep, I think I'm one of the only people who plays smash in Iowa City right now, but I'm here. ;-;
