Is there an alternative GFX plugin to 3D8 and glide?

I really like glide64, but my gay pc can't handle it in teams. Is there a plugin that crashes less than 3d8 but doesn't use as many resources?

If not, then is there certain settings for glide to use less resources?

How do u play online with rice plugin and not ds, Ive seen videos of ppl playing with it but it ds for me everytime

The other player(s) must be using rice as well with the same settings. That way it will not desynch.

So, were you using 3D6 1.5.2 because the PC you had, not because of it being PRO?

I use glide now but I used rice for years without desynchng. Be sure to go into the settings and change the mode to OpenGL and not directx.
