I was just watching Shined Blind (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=44CRrJVhUIo) and just got hit by nostalgia...I remember when that video was new and revolutionary and people were amazed by the things in that video...but it's all pretty standard now. (Though that last thing at the end still looks really **** cool)

Kinda makes you think where Melee (and Brawl for that matter) will be in the next few years.

word. i look back at old things like neo, ken, and all of the japanese players. everyone in japan should quit brawl and go back to melee.things like aniki not wding seemed cool, but he would be destroyed in todays scene. the thing i mainly liked about japanese smashers is that they didnt care if someone was low tier, they still played them.

the smash scene got a little more close minded imo. i dont main marth b/c hes top, i like him for his rythmatic gimping, and his play style.
