The Pit boards seem to focus a lot on ATs and obscure combos and whatnot, but what I haven't seen a lot of is traps and stuff. Traps, as I refer to them, are putting your opponent in a position where you can predict what they will do and punish. For example, with Marth I like to fthrow, wait for and airdodge, and regrab at higher percentages. I haven't noticed a lot of traps used by Pits in higher level play, but a lot of people have a few they find to work well for them. For example, the following are some of my favorite traps..
One of the most common is dthrow, wait for airdodge, regrab. They probably won't airdodge again, so you can follow up with dthrow, rising uair.
A good kill setup that I've seen some Pits use is reverse aerial rush a short hop, fast fall, then fsmash. This makes them think you're going to try to land a bair and can throw off their timing.
That's about all I can think of right now. Any more ideas guys?
