Looks like Olikus left out a really important detail, unless I missed it

6 Japanese female players were at the tournament, and some (or all) made it out of pools lol

according to Tsukuru, there are a lot of female ssb players in Japan now; he's trying to use this information on MSN to convince me to come to Japan XD

Just yesterday one of the main tourney hosts finally made a long mixi entry, and he said the combo video Olikus mentioned will be uploaded to youtube as well. who knows when all this uploading will happen though >__>

moyashi said there were a lot of cameras so they might be trying to get the best quality videos. the ones that were put up for download aren't the best I guess; the top of the players' heads kind of get in the way but not really

but like I said 2009 vids are better

the vid is only like 2 mins long, with one combo per character, the size is only because of very high bitrate they are using. the combos are nice but don't think you are missing much.

It was only meant as an intro. To hype up the adrenalin before the tournament started. Like a commercial for the event. Its fun but as dandan said not a great loss.

i've watched that combo dozens of times. it is also nuts.

dmoogle said the decending up-b is the same as kirby's instant rock. can someone tell me the exact way to do them because i've never tried/seen an explanation.

Just run off a ledge and upb at the right moment. It's an edge cancel basically.
