what is marth supposed to do against kirby? seems like a good cp versus marth.

I think Marth wins the match up actually for much the same reason I think he beats puff. They are forced to play an aerial game vs you and you can easily outspace them so just swat Kirby in the air over and over until you win.

I actually don't know what to do in this match up. I keep hearing it's in marth's favor, but I keep getting bodied by my local kirby when I play it. Do I need to stay on the ground and turtle by reacting to approaches? I've been suspecting that but haven't had a chance to try it out yet.

F-throw > short-hop Fair > Fair > land > regrab

You can do this at low damage and repeat until you push him off stage.

You can even get Fthrow into free Tip-F-Smash.

Then you are at the positional advantage. Just read their recovery and gimp them.

Honestly, Marth-Kirby is kinda free for Marth.

Kirby's dash attack is obnoxious as hell though.
