Here is how doubles/singles works in other fighting games:

A team consists of two or three players. They send out one first vs another one. The winning player is still in, the losing player is out. In a lot of cases, regardless of who wins, both sit out the next match, and new players compete in the next match.

For example:

Inui/Atomsk/Izumi vs Keitaro/Eazy/Yes

Atomsk goes in first, takes out Yes.
Next match is Inui vs Keitaro, Keitaro takes out Inui.
Next match is Izumi vs Eazy, Izumi beats Eazy.
Keitaro faces Atomsk, loses, and the match is over.
Inui/Atomsk/Izumi win with two players left.

Uh, okay? I can lose to him, especially best of one on a neutral. Keitaro and I are something like 6-3 in my favor not counting pre-release tournaments that don't matter. He can win. It was just a random scenario to explain how it works.

This would avoid excessive camping, since all the matches would have timers. It would also be more fair due to no counterpicking and stage striking existing for every match.

Adding an extra stage shouldn't change much for the sets length wise imo and triples will be much shorter than singles and doubles.

I like the idea being only on nuetrals.
