I sometimes fault the reverse short hop laser (or less commonly th regular shl) into the phantasm. On a small stage this results in self destrucks on my part.

I miss l-cancels on GaW's fair bcause the timing is slightly different

I get more concerened with perfomming the advanced tactics perfectly than just playing so i get frustrated when i miss a easy shffl or something.

ganon players all miss l'cancels, it's inevitable, even ken has missed some but i guess everyone does, no one is perfect

other than that, it's just not landing ganon's uair from the ledge on the stage and missing platform dashes

Rolling out of shield when trying to wavedash out of shield after a laggy hit.

When using c-stick to let go of or tech near the edge, doing a back-air right after.

1) Jumping and doing an aerial instead of doing a jump-cancelled grab.
2) Air-dodging into the ledge instead of wavelanding.

I suck at fast falling up airs during a real match, and ledge teching. I also sometimes try to spike even after tipping marths fair, because most of the time the tipper sends the enemy out of the spikes range.

I'm pretty good at smashing when I don't intend to (like running, when I just want to walk).
I can wavedash decently, but I still need a lot of practice before using it in battle.
There are a lot of things I'm not so good at...I don't think I should list them all right here.

1. Rolling way too much
2. Dash attacking way too much
3. Screwing up a double shine
4. Triangle jumping instead of wavedashing
5. Not wavedashing before attempting to pillar
6. Excessive Edge-cancelled sings
7. Bowzer bomb FTL
8. Not JC'ing grabs
9. Not waiting four frames to press B during RSHDL. (Instead of jumping and shooting two lazers, Fox just turns around and fires one ground lazer.)
10. Randomly charging smash attacks.

****, I suck

Well when i was a noob i would always spam down tilt with characters, then i would get hit and do a down aerial and fall to my death lol.
I suppose my most made mistake is not l-canceling, and ledge teching....:embarrass

Today? Everything :(. I have no idea why, but today I couldn't short hop, l-cancel, shffl, wavedash, jc grab, pretty much every advanced tech :(. I have absolutely no idea why, maybe its just a VERY VERY bad day hehe. . . I can usually get em all without fault =/.

My worst mistake ever is actually doing a Phantasm instead of a shine with Falco. I guess I don't hold the control stick directly downwards whenever I'm doing my waveshine combos, but almost half the time I end up doing a Phantasm and killing myself. Sometimes up to 3 times per match, when I'm not warmed up. If you give me about half an hour of playing Falco like crazy, I can generally do a lot better. I also, for some reason, can't wavedash out of a dashdance with Falco. I can wavedash normally just fine, but whenever I dashdance, I end up full hopping. It's really wierd O_o...

I don't usually have tech trouble with Marth. He's got a fairly easy and smooth bunch of techniques. Although I end up getting really predictable with my approach sometimes. I've been getting better.

The most common?

Being falco, when in one of shine combos that go from 0 to sometimes 50-70 I can sometimes pull off, while close to the ledge I fastfall and do fair to death.

With Fox, side B need I say more?

Absolutely I do that WAY too much.

I also have a problem with hitting people. My attacks' hitboxes go RIGHT in front of the opponent. :urg:

I still have yet to master my advanced techniques so I have quite a few problems.

I usually:
Airdodge to my death after missing a tech
Try to edgehog and airdodge to my death.
Miss the SH or FF in a SHFFL.
Try to meteor or spike someone but instead I fall to my death.
Jump before doing Mario's tornado.
Roll when I panic.
Panic during a cg and throw the person the wrong direction.

Oh, and when I was testing out characters so many years ago, I would often kill myself in many imaginitive ways:

"what happens if I through the Bomb-omb at my own feet"? K.O
*Uses Fox's B-> of the edge* K.O
"I wanna do a metor smash!" K.O
"Air dodgeing looks cool" K.O
"How far cn Bowser jump" K.O

Yeah, I was n00b city.

Pressing my second jump during the lag of my fair as marth and dairing off the stage instead of spiking them, while attempting a Ken combo that requires a speedy spike.

1. Air dodging off stage instead of wavedashing off to edge hog.
2. Using Falco's fair.
3. Crouch cancelling rapid a's trying to d tilt with Marth.
4. Mistiming double fairs (marth).
5. Missing l-cancels on double fairs (if successful (Marth again)).
6. Screwing up reverse SHL and phantasming off stage.
7. Having PAL version - Marths dair is only a meteor smash!

Trying to shield grab space animals. It didn't work before, it's not gonna work now, it won't work in the future, and yet, it's still a bad habit I didn't break yet, which in turn, is breaking me.

As Doc, sometimes my pills actually helps my foe recover.

I'm read like an open book that has a huge font.

I can never seem to finish a Ken combo with a dair.

Most of my rests fail because somehow my foe will know when I go for the attempt.

I have a poor time DI'ing out of Falco's shine combos.

I usually get the full blast of Peach's down smash.

I tend to use the wrong move at times, like charging up a smash attack by mistake when I intended to do a tint.

After over two years of wave dashing, I still mess it up by jumping a little too high at times.

Oh, that's a good one. You can actually grab space animals, but you have to wait until after the shine. I often try to grab during the shine as well.

hmm,

1. Turning around in the shine while trying to waveshine backwards
2. Missing DI's on Jiggly's u-throw (instant KO ffs)
3. Forgetting about L-canceling
4. Playing as Falco, then missing short hops when I go back to Fox.
5. messing up my timing on u-throw to u-air combos.

those are probably my most common mistakes. but the worst one by far is #2, as soon as I'm grabbed I smash the control stick left or right, but for some reason, the DI only works like 20% of the time (sigh). so basically vs. Jiggs, if I get grabbed, I die.

off-topic: yay! 100 posts!
