Lucas Kill Percents on the Entire cast.

I will edit this over time to make a list of all the percents that the whole cast can die from Lucas's moves. Starting with the important ones. I will test Dair and Bair based on the % the character dies in the water at the Pirate ship. I will disclude Dtilt because it can never kill anyone. All tests were done with the character in the center of FD.

Edit: Will continue tommarrow with Lucario, Wario, ROB, D3, and GW.

I've been doing this same type of testing. If you want to cooperate/compare notes I'd be down for that. Anything I removed from this quote was within 5% of what I got using the same methods (w/DI). I am usually assuming that the higher kill % is correct. Most of our data is very very close if not the exact same (Up-smash for example). F-Smash and f-air are much higher for you (I got 107% and ).

I'd suggest labeling anything with an over 250% damage requirement as 250+% ie, useless as a kill move. So Jab combo is useless, as is PKF, etc. They aren't worth testing. Also listing the exact % has the advantage of being more accurate, but I feel very strongly that % should round up to the nearest 5. It makes these numbers more... digestible, and thus, more useful to most players.

Charged smashes KO % rounded up. (exact)
Up Smash: ~55 (52), range of 55-90.
D-Smash: ~65 (63), range of 65-120.
F-Smash: ~75 (71), range of 75-130.
PKT2 can kill at ~80% if it hits perfectly.

Water testing is a bad idea, just have them cling to the ledge of FD and spike from there. See if a meteor cancel can save them. If they can't recover, you've got a KO.

That's about it. I'll put up marth (-the dair and bair water testing) when I find my notes. I see you already did MK...

This is useless without taking DI into account. Sorry, but it really is.
You can take DI into account. Its actually really easy to perform a move with one character and DI with the other character. Perfect DI with an attempt at an airdodge and DJ. Use the wiimote to control the CP. Without the nunchuck. Sooo easy to do on 1/2 speed. You can hold and use a wiimote and gamecube controller at the same time since all you need to use is the trigger and d-pad.

Only time I use that thing is for testing (and turning on the wii :p). PKT2 testing is still tough and you need help for the spiking.

The data won't be worthless... except the jab, nair, PKF, PKT1 and all the throws but the d-throw. Those moves just are not for KOing at the center of Final D.

Go to training mode. Set the target to player control. Use Lucas to attack with one controller and use the other controller to DI in the best direction (usually perpendicular to the launch direction).

It's possible. Don't put up data that isn't accounted for DI (which is what human players do).
