Get a 20-30% lead with your throw combos, run to the edge. He can't approach you very well...60:40 Pika. We can also edgeguard him pretty hard with uair footstools repetitively to (eventual) blue thunder.

how do you deal with his frame traps? i could never seem to get around them

What frame traps? Like, his nair bull****? Just keep shielding it? If he gets too close with them, grab him in between jabs and d-tilts.
