I don't plan on winning this at all, but I'm sure it'll be fun. I'll be wearing a Project M logo T-****, so if you got any feedback or constructive criticism, do come and talk to me.
I might bring a setup. I'll just need to prepare a new 3.0 tournament SD card, lol.
I'm new to the tourney scene and I've got a question about the rules for PM:
"Use stage striking* to select the stage. What does that mean?
Why are some stages "counterpicks"? Does that mean you can only pick those stages as 2nd stages?
Curious: What does DQ stand for?
Also a comment: I'm surprised to see Warioware in a tournament.

you alternate "striking off" stages you don't want to play until there's one left to play on, that's the first match.
yeah, counterpicks can only be chosen after the first match.
DQ - disqualified
those are modified stages, it's not the silly fun wariorware from brawl

What's the policy on the Project M SD cards? How are TO's going to make sure the setups people bring have the right files? i.e.: Not an unofficial version of Project M.
I am confused about the 'amateur bracket' and 'pro bracket'. At first, I thought pro bracket was just top 16, but then I noticed that on Saturday, it has 'pro bracket (until top 16)' listed, and also has amateur bracket. So confused :/
EDIT:
Okay I spoke personally to a TO. Just so other people don't get confused like me, amateur bracket is basically a bracket for all the people who didn't make it out of pools. Pro bracket is for all the people that make it out of pools. I'll see everyone tomorrow!
There are gonna have some instructions from the subway to the venue... if the wind isnt too strong But basically, when you got out the of subway, you go left after the tourniquet and then follow the way to Universtié de Montreal. Once your are up the big Stairs, you go left. Once you are outsite, go right and then follow the wall of the school until you see Polytechnique. Its a building with a lot of windows and Different colors for differents floors (Like Red, Orange, Green, Blue...). Its the Pavillon Lassonde. Once your in, follow the intrctution to get the Pavillon Principal. Hope it helps. but yeah basically its confusing :S downside of this venue

Had some good matches today, lots of fun playing both singles and doubles melee. Our first round doubles opponents didn't show so we advanced and got to play against M2K and VWins who destroyed us handily (along with most others). :D
I had quite a bit of fun. Pikalex or anyone who was in charge of the stream, have you captured Project M footage? If you did, would you mind linking me to it when it is available? The team would be interested in using them as data.
