Mario's Tornado's Stars

I remember in 3.0 that Mario had little stars from Super Mario Galaxy in his Tornado to reference that game. I was in debug trying to find out something, and I noticed that the stars are gone now. On his character page it doesn't say anything about them anymore.
Anyone know why they're missing?

Was about to make a thread on this. Bring the stars back, they look way cooler than this weird dust cloud around him!

Either bring the damn stars back or give him the awesome Melee effect. It feels so generic now.

The Tornado move was always a dumb attack in concept, but the Melee effect and or the stars just made it feel.. cooler.
