Meko's Lucas(The best Lucas Player) Is it true?

When it comes to getting better with your character a good method is to watch and learn from the best. We Lucas mains have Levitas, Galeon, APC, and of course Mekos(sorry if I forgot anyone)
For those of you who dont know, they say Mekos has the best Lucas.
He ranks very high on gamebattles.com
He is slowly but surely making a good name for Lucas.

First of all it's incredibly idiotic to base anyone's skill level on Wifi matches. Second, I'm not impressed with how this Mekos plays at all. Sure he plays moderately intelligently but nothing even close to what I'd call the "best" Lucas player. Third those vids aren't even recent. There are currently no Lucas players that are placing very well in large tournaments. We have no Ken. We have no Germ. We are playing a character who is almost completely unrepresented in high level tournaments within the top ranks. The best I've seen is Seanson in a few tournaments but none that have had any big names in them (please correct me if I'm wrong.) This "good name" of Lucas that you're talking about does not exist. We are one of the least frequented boards on the character specific section. We are using an underplayed and underdeveloped character who is doomed for mid tier at best. The only way this will ever change in any way is if a Lucas player manages to hold his own against some of the top players such as Azen, M2K, Cort etc. in a MAJOR TOURNAMENT SETTING. Until a Lucas players developes a playstyle that can stand up to these players using much higher tier characters, we have no "best Lucas." We have a bunch of decent Lucas's (albeit some better than others.) We are waiting for a Simna. We are waiting for a Neo. Sorry, but Mekos is clearly nothing even approaching this.

Yeah your right
I was jus basing this off what they say on gamebattles.
They say he is the best Lucas
but when I was watching these vids I noticed he was missing something that most pros have.
Maybe Azen will pick up Lucas, he uses like 10 characters.
I had no idea the Lucas boards was the least frequented boards.
I thought Jigglypuff was...lol

He is.

When I watch his matches I see he doesn't always do whats best. For example against ganon a u-tilt at 0:14 would have gone perfect there instead of a usmash. He's really good, but others are much better.

This lucas is no better than me.
He holds his own sure, but there's way too many mistakes and foolish moves that would get him killed against real players.

Plus, this is wifi. What to expect?

Wifi's not good but it's certainly not as horrible as everyone makes it out to be and it can display a certain degree of skill (of course offline is the only way to exhibit full potential). Just look at players such as axelol, Bassem, Ally, Clouderz and Anther for example.

I beleive that most Lucas's are around the same level. some slightly better allowing them to go more rounds in a tournament or have a higher online rank. But mainly no one stands out as way better than another.

However there are Lucas players that suck. But good players are on a relatively close level.

i'd like to hope i'm a good lucas. next major event i go to (which will be awhile, i'm going off to school) or maybe the next smashfest, i'll try to get some videos up

He barely ever Fairs(poor non-SH aerial game in general), and he never once/barely ever pursues off stage outside of PKT.

No, not the best Lucas, nor the potential to be one.

mekos is a pkfire ***** lol.
he only uses dair to get off the ledge, no air game at all.
hes lucky marth didnt just sheild grab all those nairs and **** grab him.
his pk freeze pressure is really good though.
