Good luck Queensland *Channel's positive chi using Super Falco Power over the interwebs*
I think Caotic, Ken and Niven should be their own crew, lol.

- Bonus Prize:
$5 Goes to the first person to meteor cancel a Ken Combo from Ken, of course, you'll need to come up here to get it.

Lol, that'd be so funny on camera.

Hey, what's all this Pokemon talk? When Diamond and Pearl comes out, I'm getting all of your DS friend codes.

Pokemon Diamond and Pearl are ftw. I now have an adundance of Phione's (ie. 6 or 7)

What time will rides be given from the station to Latrobe tomorrow? Because if they are starting later then I might catch a later train. If I don't find out I'll come early and play the waiting game.

People should catch the train with me from Southern Cross because I'm smexy...ish. Contact me via MSN if your going by train (kyran_25@hotmail.com)

I'm probably gonna be at Southern Cross at 9.30am... hopefully the Hurstbridge Train waits for a bit so I can grab my Metcard. If all goes well I'll be at Macleod Station at 10am-ish. Otherwise I'll be there at 10.20ish. But I'll be sure to let you know some how Freddo. Much man-love for your driving generousity.

As for leaving... I have no idea, it'd be nice if I got a one nice house (which I don't expect because its very inconvenient and last minute) otherwise I'll probably have to leave early or catch some crazy late train back to Bendigo (Last one leaves at 11.15pm)

NOW OFF TO SLEEP FOR ME! END COMMUNICATION!!

Oni, Heidelberg station is on the way for me, my dad should be fine with giving you and your TV a lift. Be on MSN or call me 10:00 AM tomorrow. I'll PM you my number.

Ken *****, of course. Unfortunately, I didn't get to play him. I didn't have enough of teh moneyz =[. Make sure to at least watch the finals videos for Mark's commentary. It's hilarious.

Highlight of the tourney that I unfortunately didn't get to see: Citrussed's Kirby is getting four stocked by Mikul's Falcon before Citrussed decides to go uber cheap and Kirbycides Mikul ftw in 17 seconds.

Thanks to 2 last minute rounds in swiss, I ended up coming 16th instead of 25th =D.

This tourney was fun. Thanks for organising, Cao. I hope your last tournament was a good one.

The first 4 I can remember is:

1. Ken
2. Cao
3. Freddo
4. Berimbau (This guy has a beastly Pikachu)

I don't know anything about teams. I know that Sloth and Freddo got somewhere top 3, but that's about it. Sorry guys, you'll probably get results tomorrow.

Tough luck on this Berimbau! :( Good work getting as far as you did though - very manly
@ Pic of Jon being gay. LOL That reminds me of the time we took photos of you and I taking turns at being Ness and Falcon! That's exactly how your Ness went back then I'm sure of it!
Freddo - thanks for making me right yet again :)
@ Go Ken dude picture - LOL Ken looks mighty impressed doesn't he!?
@ Group hug photo thing (pic 5) Jaz looks like he's enjoying that far too much!

I broke my controller trying to do a 540 on to a chair when I knew I could not...but Sloth needed some live action hero while he was here! Sloth you fellow giant fhag!

Thanks again all for coming - was good fun and good to see a lot of faces again, as well as some new ones. All the best for the future and I hope to see you all again!

ZOMFG SHOUTOUTS?!

Loki: Cheers for letting us use that venue, it was awesome. I'll definitely try and come to more Couch Warrior events. Must get bigger scene... Lol.

Caotic: Thanks heaps for organising it. The tournament was a blast, sadly I did not get to play you this time... but then again, we both know how it would have went. Although cute Roy matches are always fun so we'll need to do one next time.

Shaz: Your Roy is so manly, it was good to see you again, and now I can say I've been Up-B'd by you I guess. Lol. Pants off for manliness!!

Ken: I didn't get a chance to play you unfortunately, which sucks because I really wanted to play your Roy. But it was great enough getting to know you. You're a good guy and of course thanks to your travels you have plenty of awesome stories to tell. Spread the good news about Australia and our laid back tournaments. Congrats on winning. Hope to see you back here again some time for non-Smash related adventures. Would be good.

Mikul: WE MISSED OUR TRAIN!?! BLARGH! Ah well, was good fun. Lucky you made it to your train today, it would have sucked to have missed two of them. I'll catchya at a Stage event asap...

Freddo: Thanks for the ride from the station to the venue and thanks again for the ride from the venue to the station then back to the venue, lol. Your manly driving skills nearly saved the night, but sadly Melbourne's Public Transport grudge continues against me.

Plasia: TEAM LITTLE BOIS!! A Street Fighter player and a Roy player didn't come last in teams, we're very manly for that. Keep up the good work with your Street Fighting Smash skills. They'll serve you well.

Sloth: OMG! Pokemans that can't keep it in their pants and make eggs in 100 steps. For what its worth, I would have taken the trade you offered to Niven. I mean, shower keys for a Pengu... WHO COULD SAY NO?! I will play your Roy next time I see you. Good to finally meet you.

Markarse: I didn't get to play you this time, I feel robbed and violated by this. No matter. Thanks for the kind words about my Roy, he is trying to be manly, but is still learning to walk. Good placing in singles and doubles, see you soon buddy.

Jaz: Cheers for letting Mikul and myself stay at the Hostel. It saved my arse from wandering the streets of Melbourne til I could somehow get to Southern Cross. I didn't get a chance to play you, but you placed well... so that's why, lol. I'll have to come up to Sydney sometime.

Dedu: Your Marth is good... I think I won't use Roy or Marth against it next time... lol. Good to meet you man, I'll try and get up to Sydney... somehow...

KK: You were pretty much out of it when on the tram back to the Hostel, but then in the morning you were looking alive again. What is your secret? It better not be sleep... Good to see your DK play finally, I didn't get a chance to come to Comrades 1 but I saw it this time, its great. Keep up the good work.

Sam: I nearly had you!! Nearly... I could have had revenge for that time in Stage 01 Doubles where you took me and Mark out. Your Ness is good, but hopefully next time my Roy will be able to overcome him. Lol, Melty Blood.

Oni: Darn you and your Dorf... him and his powerful hits, I was always too slow or too fast with my counters and my spacing was way off. You win this round *Shakes fist* I'll see you at a future event.

Niven: You should have taken Sloth's trade, it was pretty good >.> Didn't get to play you, but I witnessed your might and was impressed, thanks for coming over to enter. See you sometime soon hopefully.

Berimbau: Awesome placing man, and your Pikachu is very smexy. I hope I get a chance to play it next time! Or if I somehow get to Sydney soon >.> keep being awesome.

CATS: It seems your *******ry can't save you all the time, but you still placed well so good work.

Atticus: I still didn't get to play it. ****! We're no good at following through with our words, haha.

Everyone who I didn't mention: You're all awesome and I hope to play you all again (or for some who I didn't play... I hope to play you eventually)

COMRADES 2 WAS AWESOME, despite certain inconveniences I faced, lol.

@ Dohei... You should have been there man.

SHout outs

Caotic: Thanks for hosting it as always, it was awesome, a hell of a lot of fun and everything, congrats on second man.

Ken: I had fun meeting you, and I hope you enjoyed Australia a bit more than you let on.

ZTV: Or should I say Z :), thanks for playing with me a bunch and chatting with me between matches.

Forblaze: Easily my favorite matches where vs your marth and falco, thanks for teaching me a lot about falco as you always do, and thanks for entertaining us all with your Ness ditto against Sam.

Sam: Too bad you didn't play well, I wanted to see a Ness ditto in the finals, nice work on all those and I was rooting for you when you versed Ken.

Oni: You've improved a lot man, keep it up and I'll catch you next meet.

Atticus: I think our game is summed up into your quote back against you "Have you always been this good?", you've improved more than ever and I always enjoy playing you and talking to you, and get on XF more often :p.

Dedu: Thanks for the fun doubles games and conversations, stay in touch before the next time you come to Vic.

Batty and the rest from Eltham: Didn't know you guys played, if you want a game or need some help learning tech skills feel free to come over some time.

And to everybody else, thanks for coming and making it a memorable night, and I'm looking forward to seeing everyone again in the future.

Shoutouts...

Ken: Thanks for taking all my pokemon and then 4 stocking me at this smash game that I used to play years ago. In all seriousness, even though I don't play smash I can tell you have a very high level of Yomi. Therefore you should pick up SF3TS :)

LMX: Unfortunately SF skills don't relate to smash, because I can't get out of SF style play. I just wrote a big essay explaining this, but then I figured that no one would care overly much so deleted it. But anyway, thanks for teaming with me, it was fun. Also you need to come to the ranbats next week so we can have that Roy ditto. I warn you, I haven't won one yet!

Cao: I really hope you enjoyed your last tournament that you'll host for melee and all that dramatic stuff, because I'm sure lots of people had fun. Umm thanks for drawing out our swiss matches to make me feel like I could be competitive. When are you coming over with Myst so I can teach you guys 3rd Strike?

Cats: I'll see you next week, remember my tin can. Thanks for the Roy lesson.

Jaz: Your kirby pwned my Roy sideways, no surprises there. It was nice to play someone who wasn't Peach/Marth/Fox/Falco for a change.

Atticus: We didn't play, but whatever it's only smash, see you in SF and Garou next week at the ranbats.

King Kong: Man I didn't get to see how much your Donkey Kong had improved from last time we met at SEAT1. Oh wells, I'm sure it was much manlier, I havent really played smash since so no doubt it's way better than my Roy now.

Markarse: Nice commentary, you'll be the Rockefeller of smash.

Shaz: You're a manly man of masculinity. I wish I could control Roy like you do.

Sloth: Nice hair.

Jon: Nice to friendly you for the first time in ages. I think I demonstrated my pro-smash technique of losing from 2 stocks up quite adequately.

Adam: Come to the ranbats you foo. I'll beat you up in pokemon when I get kicked out of the losers bracket in smash in the 2nd round. Also learn not to drive into weird places when I'm following, thanks :p

Mikul: Thanks for letting Ken borrow your GBA, much appreciated. See you next week, those up+Bs will be returned.

Nick: She's totally not into me man, you lie.

Forblaze: Why do you lose to me in friendlies then go way better in the touney? lol Good work in waking up I guess :p

I think that's all I can remember right now, sorry if I missed someone. Umm thanks for the non-Victorians talking to me and stuff.

My Shoutouts!
Ken: Thanks for the time spent training me, i felt that i had improved a level just taking you on, and i really enjoyed playing again in the crew matches. I hope you had a good time in aus and that you have heaps of memories of our little home.

Cao: Good stuff in getting this organised, i'll also do what i can to help lighten the burden of running events. So just say so if you need my help.

Shaz: Good to see you manchild, and it was good getting all those up-b's in, it's the energy of these major tournies that get's me going i tell you :D And your Roy needs practice, LOL.

Jon: Aerial Flaming Manjuices memories lol, you added a lot of amusement to the day and that was worth it. If you wanted to, you could easily train up and be manly at smash again.

Freddo: Your fox is still too good for me lol. But i still intend to find a way to beat it. Thanks for trying to get me and LMX to the station, we were soo close. Good to play again.

Jaz: Dude your falcon is awesome, i loved the ditto's and the gannon/falcon matches. If i get the chance i'm coming to sydney and learning everything i can from your playstyle. They will always be big matches. I also hope that you didn't get into too much trouble.

Citrussed: Nice work with the kirby cheapness there, you did well. But i'll do my best to make sure that it doesn't happen again.

Sloth: You should just move to vic, and have more fun with us victorians. Good to have you back for a little bit.

DJ Cat: Thanks for the N64 battles, and i was glad to show you what sabrewulf could do, too bad about the car on the way to melbourne.

LMX: Too bad we missed the trains, but the night at the hostel wasn't too bad. Let's hope that we don't have any sort of trouble again. *chuckles*

Barki the Grappler: Good work on making your Doc soo anti-fox; i need an anti-fox character, or i need to improve my marth, lol. Good to play you too, but we didn't get to play in the main tourney.

Plasia: Good seeing you there, and it was fun up-b'ing also. Don't worry about owing them, just spread the up-b love everywhere. Also i think that i would like a ready made pokemon team also, but that's for another day.

Nick: Thanks for being my doubles partner, too bad we didn't have much chemistry there, we could have made a better team.

That's all i can think of for now, but if i can i'll add more later.

Shout out time.

Cao: Congratulations on a successful tourney. It had everything a good tourney needs, or a good Australian tourney needs – someone getting owned hardcore by a noob and some awesome close matches. Congratulations on your placing, you are a standout player in Australia, number one in my power ranking books. I hope you’re not put off by Mark’s comments about Peach because I reckon I could probably beat every peach in Aus except yours, and that’s a testament to your skill, not her cheapness. You read me and others so well and deserve every win you get. Good luck for the future, whether you stick with smash or decide to move on.

Loki: Dude. I don’t know how you do it. Such dedication. Thanks for trusting us enough to stay at the venue by ourselves and allowing us to break the rules just as tad. See you at next couch warriors my friend!

Sam: Thanks for helping our so much with tourney organisation and getting everyone organised for transport and making the pools run smoothly. Your helped heaps and that cake…! I swear. Ask KK, coz that cake was top stuff. I offered some to Sloth but apparently he’s ‘lactose intolerant’ aKa ‘Gay’.

Sloth: What can I say. You are the - Best. Partner. Ever. There was no one else in the room yesterday that I could have teamed with to bring Cao and Ken to the third match in team finals. Only you have the goods. I was ready to go home after match two of team finals, we were the only two yesterday who could say ‘We beat Ken’. Thanks for coming from Tasmania yet again and thanks for your services with the vidcam. Can’t wait to watch it all over again. It was a pleasure hosting you as always, looking forward to next time.

King Kong: Again, a pleasure to host you. Was so glad to spend good quality time with you, since we never got around to playing/talking in the past. We had some awesome matches, your DK is a standout for sure. You can wear that badge proudly which says ‘best DK in Aus’… I’m glad that people like you are in QLD to push the scene forward. Looking forward to seeing you and a QLD crew in full force next time.

ACCELERATE: Awesome man. Another good Samus who knows how to take advantage of her. You were critical in pulling KK through teams as far as you did. Congrats on your placing, hope you’re pleased.

Ken: Thanks for being our special guest in Australia. I hope we looked after you well so that you can take some memories back home. I appreciated getting to know the guy behind the marth more than anything else. Some of you I was expecting, but other things about you I was not. Overall you’re a great guy, best of luck for the future.

Markarse: Oh man. What to say? You make me laugh so much. It was like a 2 vs 1 match at times in finals - my fox vs Cao’s peach and your commentary. Only in Australia can you be playing for second place in a major tourney and be pissing yourself laughing at the same time. You will bring smiles to many people who watch the videos. Looking forward to catching up with you soon.

Jaz: Thanks for making another trip down to Melbourne and brining a nice bunch of guys with you this time. You are a great leader in the scene, even if you stuffed up the order in crews lol. Your Cpt. Falcon has improved, not that I got much of a chance to play it. But like you said, ‘we never do’. Thanks for all the TV carrying and tourney organisaing you did, you were a big help. Stay safe in Sydney, get those guys good and I’m sure we’ll be seeing each other again soon.

Pat: I wasn’t sure what to think of you until I heard that you had beaten CATS in a pikachu ditto. Every once in a while you get some talented and fast learning smash players, you are one of them. Looking forward to seeing you again and congrats on your placing.

Dedu: Was good seeing you again mate. Like I said, feels like I’ve known you for a while, hard to tell myself that this is only our second brief encounter together! Thanks for the friendlies and comments about my game. I really appreciate it. I saw your improvements since comrades 1 and looking very forward to seeing you again soon. Stay safe.

Adam: Good decision coming back to my house after comrades. Had heaps of fun. Sorry about watching Mark’s lame *** movies, I’ve been through it before.

Jon: Good seeing you man. I missed that spark you bring to the atmosphere. You’re Ness impersonation had me laughing and even some of the parents couldn’t help a giggle either. I guess I’ll see ya around.

Shaz: You were a naughty boy at the tournament. I think of you as a smash vigilante sometimes in tournaments. Yeah you help some people out but you gay out others sometimes too. I have to thank you and smack you. I respect you highly as a person, but not so much as a smash player since I don’t see you win too much these days. Having said that, I’ve heard your reasons for attending smash tournaments and I still think (ironically) you’re a great player, one of the best. No harsh feelings about the massive ditch fest going on at Comrades 2? I hope not, because we just play at tournies for different reasons, and Sloth was there for the same reasons as me. Looking forward to catching up soon and taking your advice which has helped my game get to where it is now.

New Zealand Dudes: Didn’t play ya’s. Didn’t see ya’s play. Heard you were great players though and worked well as a team. Congratulations, get a scene growing in NZ!

Mikul: You happened to be this tournies sacrificial lamb of noobness. You got cheaped out, I didn’t see it, but I definitely heard it. I know you will make sure that won’t happen again, good stuff. Glad to hear you got home safe. Keep working on your game.

LM-X: A pleasure to drive you. Thanks for coming to represent country Victoria! You and me have only ever played maybe 1 friendly in all our history. I’m sure I’ll see you soon at a monthly to make up for that.

Citrussed: Well done dude, keep practising. It was fun meeting your dad, he’s a great bloke. Was so happy seeing him get involved in the finals.

Moogleman & Friends: Lazy buggers. Coming late and missing teams. Thanks for travelling so far anyhow, see you at monthlies – you guys are improving at fast rates too. Good to see.

Niven: Thanks for representing Perth. Can’t believe you drove Sam’s car, nice job. Was good playing you, catch you next time.

Oni: Good job. People say you improved. I didn’t see too much to tell, but I believe them. Thanks for the comments on your shout outs, means a lot to me. We should practise one day. See you at monthlies. Sorry for no friendlies at the tournament, we’ll make up for it.

I’m pretty darn sure that’s it. There were others I ran into but didn’t spend much time with. If I’ve left something out I will edit later. Thanks to all, I’m going to bed!

Megatron ripped me in half T-T
Ok, shout outs: hopefully i can do this in one go,

first of all, Alot of thanks goes to CAOTIC for organising tournaments for the years that have passed, without his attitude and passion towards smash, the Australian scene would be in very bad shape indeed, i wouldn't be in the smash scene myself it weren't for him, thanks for your dedication Cao.

and thanks to la trobe uni, awesome venue!

USA

Kenny boy: I have often wondered how someone could continue to win tournaments despite the numbers of attendance in the states, all my questions were answered during the donation matches that KK and i had with you, you offered words of wisdom and a good smash story here and there. i was worried we would see a nurfed version of ken, with the pal version, but you still managed to win the tourny without effort, i could go on but i don't want to dominate these shout outs on one person lol, i agree with mark I'd be glad to see you again with or without your game cube controller.

NZ

DZ & PMD: I could not possibly get through the first sentence without mentioning bagels nor give you guys seperate shout outs, for as a team i think you guys made me laugh myself to the point... where i think i pee'd a little bit, i think you guys being in the same room as me made the whole trip worthwhile, even without TV's.
Diz, i didn't know what to inspect from the Kiwi's best, it was such a relief to see us having the closest matches i've had in a loooooong time, congrats in teams and your placing, I know ist a long shot, but if i ever get to NZ i will try my best to see you, and the other guys you talked up.
Dan if Diz wasn't cracking jokes, ships were somehow coming out of the base or bagels were going out the same way they'd came in,
DENSE, NOT HARD
i know you didn't expect much in your rankings, but you do have a decent jigs that's for sure, probably the best I've versed to be honest, so don't talk yourself down, its a force to reckon with in teams or singles, dunno how the arse beat the c*ck... we'll have to address that issue when i get more money.
Because if i was richer, i probably would have joined you guys getting drunk and adding to the random sh*t that was the first hostel night, thanks for helping me out, the laughter and the awesome times guys your a welcome addition to the smash community

VIC

Mark: i was pleased with our team placing, so close to booze money lmao, but we've always seemed to work together well, too bad we drew sloth and freddo twice o.o
the hostel actually wasn't that bad imo, with one or 2 more tv's, it actually would have been a good experience for the out of staters, it was close to the city as well, so we bummed out at n2c twice, all in all a "mission complete"
Great commentary btw, i think I'll have to hire you for all of my matches :p
We had awesome matches as usual (illegal or not) and you are housed any time you feel the need to come to Sydney and visit, there were a few people i versed on the day that i would have loved to vs for a long time, and you were definitely on that list, thanks for everything Arse maing

CAOTIC: I tried my best to rival your organising skills, but forgot to open the windows lmao, sorry to ken for not thinking enough. we had very few matches, but somehow they are always close it seems a mystery to me, because there is such a huge gap in our rankings, but never the less i always enjoy our matches, you always play your best and thats all i ever expect from the people i verse, i know everyone wanted ken to win with G&W but its still an awesome effort to come out on top in the finals yet again, great work Cao ^_^

Mik: You were also on that list, our falcon dittos were awesome, and i had to be wary of that ganon, we both improved since last time, we were pretty much clones for ages, but we've finally forked into different players, very enjoyable matches mikul, feel free to come to sydney, just not till this assignment is outa my hair >.<
And the hostel was cool with everything, so no need to worry :p

Freddo: My god, you took 17 stock vs Sydney, that is a colossal effort fweddo, even people can get lucky/ abuse mistakes and get a stock, but 17 is beyond excuses and can be explained by massive skill, i probably didn't congratulate you at the time, because i was sad as our captain lmao, you were a force to reckon with in teams to. Your a constant reminder my falcon needs to improve, thanks for the general ownage

Sameh! the ness champ, honest though sam, you may not be flash at directions or sense of, but you sure helped that tournament happen, driving the stuff, setting up, ferrying people at the end, you did very well little ness man <3
I didn't play your ness once T-T that was a downfall for me, but makes me realise how many people i wanted to vs there. Keep up the low tier ownage

Tram Drunkard its a shame you didn't come to the tourny, i spose you were getting drunk at the time, then when i actually met you on the tram we discussed mythical creatures... the meaning of life, such important things, good luck with drinking my tram friend, although i hope we never meet again

Shaz: I didn't expect to vs the manly roy, it frustrated me more that i didn't beat it, but thats always been the case in out matches. try not to Up B so many people in real life next time, you can't expect everyone to share your sense of humour. but as the saying goes, shaz is shaz, i don't suppose the smash scene would be the same without you.

Nick: no matches o.o
but hey, i always enjoy talking to you, smash or not, and the tourny would have been a dull place without your wit. lmao at your convo with plasia on the way to maccas, i regret not talking to you more Nick, its always a good time

Blaze: we had... no singles matches! WTF dude, you were studying at the tourny, i spose that's why >.< any who i missed having matches with ya, the Jedi tail is coming along nicely as well, thanks for the doubles match it you look to have improved a bit since last time ;)

Lemon man there was no way i was gonna leave you on the pavement or something, that's what the hostel idea was for i spose, a massive just in case. although no one realised at the start :p If i versed you or not is not in the memory i'm afraid but your definetly welcome to come to sydney ^_^

CATS living up to the B@$tdry name as always, countering me with pika in crews, i should have seen that coming. we had good matches in all, and your pika is still impressive. now you know what i was talking about when i said pat's pika was a grade above. you saw it own me in the tourny, thanks for the matches CATS, we never talk much, but i fear every time we do, you would own me with knowledge, too bad TM didn't come huh?

Adam well, i didn't verse you, talked to you once and then saw you sleeping on the floor
i mean, double you tee ef mate,
if this happens again, i may cry, hopefully you'll come to sydney one day :p

Plasia: well, i expected the worst from another Roy, but i somehow pulled through lol, even with shaz's words of wisdom, thanks for the lift to maccas lol, no seatbelt and edge guarding parking spots while DIing my cokes lmao, good to see you again

Citrussed: lmfao at your Kirby dance and your Kami-Kirby efforts, you did the Kirby clan proud XD

Jon: Too Manly for my Shoutouts

Oni:

WA

Niv: Thanks for staying at the Hostel, and thanks for showing up Niv, your fox has definitely improved and your tourny ranking doesn't show how far your fox has come. the tram trip back was funny, still dunno how Xen managed to 3/4 empty his bladder... we'll forever ponder that i spose.... give my regards to Perth, if i win the lotto, I'll be there first.
can't believe the eagles lost T-T

Bringer/QuetzMissed you T_T

TAS

Key: lmfao at this whole trip, smash would be boring without your input i swear, i think its the reason I've been able to play it for so long. Smash wise, your still beyond my reach, and always helping me with pointers, there's not many people that do that constructively, and i thank you for the advice. however little sloth, if next time we have more money there will be absolutely no reason why we won't be smashed of our faces. I think we should seriously consider getting some three corner rings or at least a hand shake. congrats on your placing's in teams, and singles, i still think it was good enough ;)

N30n: For some reason, i always pictured you as like some random pre-pubescent nub.
You are definitely not pre-pubescent... no wonder we got along!
Ah we had some good times, good jokes, and certainly had some good matches, i hope sloth trains you into some kind of SUPER SMASH BROTHER! If it were possible, i would definitely come to Tas to visit, thanks for the good company and keeping the humour train rolling, wherever we were lol

QLD

KIIIIIING KOOOOONG: Holy crap we've been doing this too long, yet we haven't done this long enough. man where do i start? even in dire times you manage to pull through and attend, your Dk is still as strong as ever and that shiek is still a problem for anyone. May i add this marks the first tourny where we didn't verse! that's probably why i ranked a bit higher... somehow. we all know when the ranks are lying ^_^
in teams you pwn and you even left a mark in the Ken donation matches, I greatly appreciate you coming to the hostel, it would have been a little empty without you to be honest, 2 corners out of three just doesn't cut it. I hope that QLD and NSW can have a tourny soon, to add to the glorious memories. Keep on smashin KK

XLR8: ****it kid, what a pro, that samus is f*cking dangerous. I'm glad i didn't verse it to be honest, my rankings would have gone down. congrats on repping ward so well, and in the end it was good you made it to the hostel, and a mega congrats on your teams effort, knocking out freddo and Sloth is no easy feat. Then to make matters sexier we have some awesome falcon dittos, some of my fav matches were there. thanks for repping Qld equal to its worth, the stickers were a nice touch ;)

DJ Cats: your blood is maroon don't deny it. bad luck with the car bobbeh, but them's the brakes XD
ok that's my lame joke per shout outs done no doubt people will point out more. N64 goodness as always and a impressive yoshi! very surprising to be owned by that dtilt again, and egg spam aswell, you've come a long way cat maing its good to see a familiar face again, Bl about the lions losing :p

Syke: wtf guy

SYD

Fellas, if i was allowed to take credit for you all i would say I'm proud, the fact is that you guys all made a massive effort to make it and performed well under pressure, and there is no way i could take credit for all your efforts! so we got slaughtered in the crew battle, it just means we have only one way to go, congratu-f*cking-lations!!!!

Berimbau: omfg pat.... pat, pat, pat. You placed higher than me, you beat Cats and probably Shaz in a pika ditto, and you still pwned my falcon. i am lucky enough to have you there for experience mate, congrats on doing so well for your first nationals, i think everyone was impressed with your pika, it was at least a match everyone saw worth in watching
It was so good to see sydney place high in this tourney very well done pat.

Kulla: and then you came and placed awesome to! holy crap that luigi has become a major threat! simon it was good to have a voice of reason in the madness, and i hope you enjoyed your first crazy nationals experience, i'm pretty sure you still are as we speak, hopefully back at the hostel and not busking in the city >.< thanks for repping sydney proudly it seems all those bi-weeklies have paid off ^_^

Dedu: stui, you surprise me more and more, in smash you continue to improve and under circumstances i think i would just give up you pull the most unlikely move or combo out of no where, your a strong part of Sydney's smash scene stu, you did extremely well to keep up with freddo's fox, if it was only for a little, and then to pwn in our other one aswell! thansk for joining us stu, the trip wouldn't have been the same

Mic: lmao now you see what i was talking about when i mentioned the awesomeness of interstate smash, its a level of its own, your luigi pwnd, the drive down must have been awesome, and we'll have to talk about that eventually, thanks for sticking with me for most of the trip it was good to be around sydney brethren, and good to see commitment. i hope you enjoyed the hostel experience

Xeno: you crazy b*stard lmao, what the hell for so much of the sh*t that happened, the trip would have been hell boring without you borrowing construction warnings and falcon punching trams, Xen, you always did what you wanted, makes it hard for an organiser, but it makes for an awesome personality, the tram rides were hilarious, i can't pick a favourite, i hope to see you in Sydney soon, and bring that new and improved falco of yours!

to everyone else, I'm sorry i didn't get to talk to you long enough or remember names, hopefully you stick around and I'll see you at the next big tourny ^_^

another tourny, another shout out, but somehow the experiences are always as good as each other for every wrong and right reason. a more efficient traveller would have b*tched about the hostel for a while first, but its a testament to what we do if we can stay in a place where chocolate bars were murdered for the sake of smash. it had its downs, but it is definitley something to consider.

My fingers are near frozen and its 2:30 in the morning and here i am writing shout outs, yet I'm not that surprised, a lot of people sacrifice a lot to play this game at a higher level, and i see now why it is referred to as a community. anyone that travels to attend these tournaments wants to get better and wants to enjoy doing it, hopefully in years to come among us we'll have smash stories to rival even kens.
For ken wasn't only one of the best in America he was also the first serious international guest i met, it was a more relaxed environment in comparison, but the principles are still the same.

so for that reason i hope that national smash tournaments continue to exist in Oz, in memory of Cao's work.

Comrades 2 was awesome. I thought the Swiss system in particular was a great way of doing the singles tournament.

Anyway, shoutouts, Atticus edition -

Redact: Thanks for teaming with me. We didn't do very well in the doubles bracket, but our tournament games in singles were fun and it was cool smashing with you on Thursday. :)

CAOTIC: Thanks for organizing a great tournament, and everything else too. I'm relatively new to the Melbourne Smash scene, but it's obvious to me that it wouldn't be as strong as it is today without your dedication to putting events together. Congrats on your placing too.

Loki: Thanks for getting us a great venue! See you at Stage 04.

Ken: Thanks for coming down and taking part in our tournament. Needless to say, you're an amazing player. I'd seen you play in videos, but it doesn't really give the same perspective of your skill as getting destroyed in person. :)

Kumori: You managed to improve as much as anyone else despite not having shown up to anything since the last meet at Dohei's. Now that you've improved your tech skill, what you need is experience, so start coming to the monthlies!

LMX: Lol. If you come to Stage 04, we WILL play each other. So be there!

Plasia: Thanks for driving us to McD's, at that point I couldn't even play properly until I'd eaten something. Thanks for coming even though a full day of Smash is frustrating for you

Markarse: Didn't play you yesterday, but your commentary was hilarious. It added a lot to the entertainment value of the finals!

Citrussed: Thanks for the Zelda pointers, I think I'll stick with Marth though, haha. Good games, looking forward to playing against you more at future meets.

Oni: It was no problem to give you a ride. Come over to my place sometime and Smash! We do live in adjacent suburbs after all :p

Dedu: I wish we had a video of our matches around the first CoA so we could see just how much we've improved since then, haha. Good games, always a pleasure to Marth ditto against you.

Other out-of-staters: I wish I'd played against more of you, but good games to all of you that I did! Kulla, No. 13, Niven, and ACCELERATE & KK briefly in crews - I'm probably forgetting someone too - but ggs.

Other Victorians: Good games to those who I played, hope to see you all at the next Couch Warriors.
