St Louis can't really host one without a good venue
and I have no idea how it works lol.. and lack a car.

Maybe if I ask Rauleen how she does it..

but yeah midwest needs to step it up.
check the pac west boards, almost all the threads are melee tournies, with 3 for both.
in midwest, almost all are brawl tournies, with like... 3 for both.

Midwest is just too ****ing spread out. You might initially think that the MI Melee scene and the IN Melee scene shouldn't be too far apart, but just realize that the drive from Ann Arbor to Evansville is 7 god **** hours... 7! wtf

mw is way too spread out, but places that should be hotspots are being lazy too

columbus is loaded with good smashers that just dont do anything, and chicago has one of the best scenes in the country in terms of numbers and talent

if only kcmo was in the middle of the midwest
