Last Friday, Microsoft officially acquired Activision Blizzard for $68.7 billion. This marks the biggest buyout in the video game industry. This was a few days right before the new October 18th deadline.

Microsoft has stated to not expect new Activision Blizzard titles on Xbox Game Pass until 2024. With this buyout, Microsoft now owns Guitar Hero, World of Warcraft, Candy Crush Saga, Crash Bandicoot, Spyro, Diablo, Call of Duty, and many more.
