It's just as relevant to people outside Japan as any of those things? We'll get this mode when the game comes to our respective regions, just as we'll get all the items, moves ect. when the game releases in our respective regions.

I didn't say it was a good update at all.
Any Wii U exclusive mode would help. That's ten times more interesting than another 3DS Menu. But again, the issue was making us wait this long for this menu. I doubt many would care if it wasn't for the wait. Hence "poor timing".
It is relevant only to people in Japan. At this time. I worded it a bit badly, but I still stand by it. The update was sucky because it's worthless right now for American players. Waiting a month for it to be of note is not helpful when you make us wait over 4 hours for this weak update.
I just explicitly, directly, and unambiguously said I wasn't trying to say the post was good, at all. You also entirely missed what my actual point was.
The point is that a menu is not that hype-worthy for most people.Staring to think that none of you even read the descriptions of the pic anymore. These are just as informative as every other pic we've gotten so far.
Stop staying up for them. Seems simple enough.
I'm pretty sure they are aware that this isn't a hype update or trying to make it as such, but it's something that had to be said due to the timing of the patch and beta situation with the Conquest mode. Nothing else.

Sure. But it wasn't useful for American viewers who probably will have the mode from the start.
Your right, they can vent the point all they want, that doesn't mean others don't have the right to criticize the venting either. Works both ways.
I actually almost didn't check it this morning as it didn't even cross my mind after watching streams of the full game this weekend. My level of concern over the PoTD has taken a sharp decline even if it had started showing something from the Wii U version.
Lighting a bomb ready to explode(which you are doing) is far worse than ignoring venting.

To be frank, I'm not particularly concern with how a few angry people on a forum feel about my criticism of their issue with a give issue. Angry and emotion doesn't generally get to justify a lack of criticism, not in the real world and especially not in a public forum, if you post something in a public place it's open to criticism one way or another whether the person feels that criticism is justified or not. I always try to be as fair as possible when I resort to criticism but at the same time I don't intend to not say something just because someone might be angry or lash out at me for one I said. I'm not trying to provoke people, and if that's what people really think I'm doing, I don't really know what else to say about it.
