PROJECT M I GUESS GODDAMMIT

We'll see how long stronghold guys are okay with us playing for, last time josune was kind enough to be a homie and stick around until like...midnight. Low Tier will happen if there's time...I will make time.

Rules
Item: OFF
Stock: 4
Time: 8 min.
Double Blind: If elected.
One stage ban per set
Standard DSR (you cannot pick the LAST stage you won on, in a set)
Matches that time out will be determined by the remaining number of lives, then percentage of the current stock. In the event of a percentage tie, the match should be replayed in full. Sudden Death is not to be played, and will not count.
Friendly fire: ON
Stalling in order to avoid conflict for the duration of the match may result in forfeit of the match, if it is deemed by the TO to be excessive. Techniques that may fall under this rule include wobbling (past a reasonable KO percent), rising pound under the stage, or Peach wall-bombing on FoD; this shouldn't be an issue, but if it does arise, the TO should be contacted to resolve the issue.

Stages:
Singles
- Final Destination
- Battlefield
- Dream Land 64
- Fountain of Dreams
- Yoshi’s Story

- Brinstar
- Rainbow Cruise
- Pokemon Stadium
- Mute City
Teams
- Final Destination
- Battlefield
- Dream Land 64
- Pokemon Stadium
- Yoshi’s Story

- Brinstar
- Mushroom KingdomII
- Jungle Japes
- Corneria
- Kongo Jungle 64
- Rainbow Cruise

Set Procedure:
1. Players may agree to play with MBR5 shortened stage list only
2. To select the first stage, players strike from the 5 starter stages (in blue) using the pattern P1-P2-
P2-P1
3. After the first round, the winning player may permanently ban two stages from the complete list
of 9. The losing player will then select a counter-stage from the remaining choices, then the
winning player will select his character, then the losing player will select his character.
4. Play proceeds in this fashion until the set is complete. If a best-of-5, players only make their 2
bans after their first win of the set. They do not get additional bans for each win.
5. A player may not select a stage he/she banned him/herself. No stage may be played twice, unless
both players agree.

Rules

Item: OFF

4 stage ban per set
Modified DSR (you cannot pick a stage you won on, in a set)
Matches that time out will be determined by the remaining number of lives, then percentage of the current stock. In the event of a percentage tie, the match should be replayed in full. Sudden Death is not to be played, and will not count.
Friendly fire: ON
Stalling in order to avoid conflict for the duration of the match may result in forfeit of the match, if it is deemed by the TO to be excessive. Techniques that may fall under this rule include, rising pound under the stage, or Peach wall-bombing on FoD; this shouldn't be an issue, but if it does arise, the TO should be contacted to resolve the issue.

Honestly, I might have come if it wasn't that weekend. I am moving the day after that so I really cannot make it. If it was the weekend after, there's a good chance I would have gone.

You realize this is the same date as Impulse so SW won't be there.

Edit: Also Sion I thought you were going to Anime Expo? >.> that's also the same weekend lol

I get that impulse is the same date but that isn't the reason most of our players aren't going to be there, I'll look into a date change, I don't want to have it the same week as gameclucks so this might be moved to the 14th :/
