Ive been playing Link on and off just casually, and i was wondering. What attack do you use the most with Link. I think for me its the up tilt. close second would likely be bombs.

What about everyone else?

His DAC. It's so useful and it moves pretty fast and can be very surprising. I use it the most second only to spamming his boomerang for some spacing.
Link's Dair is beautiful too, but... the lag on it if you miss is just awful.

Link's not exactly the type of character that you spam the same moves with. With Link it's all about a balance of all of his moves so as to build up damage. But otherwise, I'd say boomerang -> arrow

I always try to avoid using his Jabs, they suck a lot, anyone (specially Ike) can jab you back even if Link hits them first, and some time opponents (Specially Wolf) can even Grab you after being hit by your jab, sucks but true.

I use all I can to survive, but I'm a fan of his Spin in brawl, I love it whenever I get to use it.

i agree with link specialist, a good mixup of jabs and cancelled jabs are really spammable, but bombs and arrows are the best approach, a bomb thrown then arrow cancelled has been known for me to push people into bombs and or punish spot dodgers with a half second arrow charge. Plus bombs can be used to bait like throwing a bomb up new bomb thrown forwards arrow cancel grab fallen bomb throw then dacus.

most used moves in my opinion highesst to lowwest with my link
fair and down smash are highly situational along with zair, i only use zair when i have a bomb

bomb and arrow
jab
u tilt
bair
up smash
nair
f tilt
fair
d tilt
boomerang
down smash
dair
up b

imo boomerang is only good for edgeguarding, when hit at the full extension it pushes opponent away and is also good for mindgames.

sorry its so long :)

I use the Boomerang and Arrows a lot. After that I use DAC a good number of times as well.

Z air ftw the only thing this move doesn't do is KO. Obviously its better with a bomb but even without it u can short hop this all day if you want its so safe, and leads to a lot of mind games. Especially if you're playing someone who likes to roll and guess. Empty short hops become great against players like that.

To be honest, I'm surprise for most of you it isn't a mix of his projectiles. That that's me. Other than projectiles...I guess Down Smash for me.

Yeah, a mix of projectiles with too many boomerangs (Melee habit). For non-projectile attacks, I have to go with Utilt and Dsmash, defensive Fairs and Fsmashes.

Hmm i c. How about least used attack?

I would say mine would be down tilt or spin attack. Just because if they are really close to me, i might as well do an up aerial since it hits in front, behind and above. It also combos better. If ur using it for range, you might as well do an f tilt or just throw a boomerang. As for the spin attack, it has too much ending lag for me. Lots of the time they shield or dodge and then im left open. Especially if they shield it, u are just a sitting duck.

least used is definitely dtilt, even though it has spiking potential its much easier to run off the edge and nair them

I hardly use dtilt. I sometimes use it to put pressure on my opponent when he's hanging from the ledge to lure him into a spin attack at high %, but that's all. I don't dare using nair off the edge because i play mostly against a Marth whose priority just kills Link's.
Another attack I hardly use is the ftilt, it just feels so... laggy, and so punishable. Besides, I have never seen it used often by "pros". But I have to try it a bit more, seems like an alternative to defensive fairs.

n air, boomerang and up tilt for me. i actually now tend to use f tilt a bit more now, mostly for recovering opponents or out of my bair

Man I really wish it wasn't called craq walk... and that's a pretty bold statement.

Most used: Nair Utlit Bombs and Dsmash in no particular order.
Least used: Dtilt and Uair
how is it a bold statement lol? ask every other brawl player and they'll say something like "Looks useless" or "whats the point when i can just walk up to them?"

o and i wasnt calling myself pro if thats what you meant lol

Ah I see what you mean.
Yeah the "craq walk" does catch a lot of heat, but it definitely has its uses.

i absolutely agree with the first two sentences. the last one is iffy, just say boomerang. if we're talking about most used by noobs and vets, its boomerang.

No questions asked, His boomerang. It's quick, effective and evenif it misses, the other player generally would of had to stop what they were planning in order to avoid it.
