Using more tilts instead of more smashes prevents stale smash attacks when it comes time to dealing the finishing blow. For me, his bombs. For newbies, you see a ton of smash moves, and from pros you see a lot of tilts.
yeah thats why you see more pros using them then noobsUsing more tilts instead of more smashes prevents stale smash attacks when it comes time to dealing the finishing blow.
Dude pros <3 tilts no jokeI hardly use dtilt. I sometimes use it to put pressure on my opponent when he's hanging from the ledge to lure him into a spin attack at high %, but that's all. I don't dare using nair off the edge because i play mostly against a Marth whose priority just kills Link's.
Another attack I hardly use is the ftilt, it just feels so... laggy, and so punishable. Besides, I have never seen it used often by "pros". But I have to try it a bit more, seems like an alternative to defensive fairs.
thats because unlike 99% of Link mains legan, dolphins22 and me use the craq walk T_TDude pros <3 tilts no joke
just play legan and count how many he uses
Man I really wish it wasn't called craq walk... and that's a pretty bold statement.thats because unlike 99% of Link mains legan, dolphins22 and me use the craq walk T_T
how is it a bold statement lol? ask every other brawl player and they'll say something like "Looks useless" or "whats the point when i can just walk up to them?"Man I really wish it wasn't called craq walk... and that's a pretty bold statement.
Most used: Nair Utlit Bombs and Dsmash in no particular order.
Least used: Dtilt and Uair
Ah I see what you mean.how is it a bold statement lol? ask every other brawl player and they'll say something like "Looks useless" or "whats the point when i can just walk up to them?"
o and i wasnt calling myself pro if thats what you meant lol
i absolutely agree with the first two sentences. the last one is iffy, just say boomerang. if we're talking about most used by noobs and vets, its boomerang.Link's not exactly the type of character that you spam the same moves with. With Link it's all about a balance of all of his moves so as to build up damage. But otherwise, I'd say boomerang -> arrow
