My 2006 RVL-001 Wii can't read Brawl, how to install w/ SD?

Used wii from Amazon. Country was set to USA & USA is on the box next to the serial number. Has gamecube ports.

Reads Super Mario Bros. Wii fine but not a new Brawl disc.

Is there a way I can run Brawl + PM from an SD card? Disc reading seems out of the question.

I guess I'll have to try the USB loader. I tried another 2006 RVL-001 Wii and it loaded Brawl OK. Stage builder no go. Formated FAT, copied the extracted files over, had already deleted my old save files on the wii console. No loading Gecko
