Alright. I have a linksys router and a cable modem. And I can connect to others by plugging directly into the modem but always get 86420 when I go through the router. I also have 2 other comps connected to the router.

My Wii is set to auto obtain ip and auto obtain everything. So Im not sure how to figure out what its ip is.

Im not sure how to port forward but from what I read if I put it in dmz it doesnt matter (?).
I cant seem to connect to my router unless its auto obtain ip and I dont know what to set it too if not auto obtain. Im pretty sure once I find it out I can just put it in DMZ and itll be fine but thats supposed to be for lag isnt it?

I tried just putting 110 in the dmz but that doesnt work :p

(Im totally clueless at this stuff.) :dizzy:

If you haven't already, take a look here.

Also, this site has quite a bit of info on port forwarding.

Unfortunately, I don't really have the answer for this (I'm having some router problems, too), but hopefully these sites at least give you some place to start.
