Ness PK Thunder AT (dat ain't Lucas!) - Sliding PKT2

There is a way for Ness to do a faster PKT2. Anybody who mained Lucas in Brawl may find this familiar. Basically you run off of a platform or the edge and Up B at pretty much the same time. I don't have frame data for this but it should be easy enough to practice the timing on your own. There are no extra inputs; just run off and Up B at the same time, simple as that. I still find it very hard to execute! Is it still possible? (Did you use a patched version of smash or not?)
My failed attempts were on a Wii U

This isn't patched. You have to use the dash momentum to pull this off. It works like this. The moment you step off the platform, you have to initiate PKT and aim it at yourself. This was something Lucas could do in Brawl and when I first saw it, I was jealous, because it looked good and Ness couldn't do it. Now he can. With Rolling PK Thunder, you cannot do this off platforms (on Battlefield) in the direction where the ledges are at without actually landing into the ledge itself, which could be useful as an edge guard.

IMPORTANT!!!
I found this can be done with other characters as well with differing B moves for each. For example, Toon Link can do this (quite effectively actually) with side and down B. Sheik can use this for up B, Zelda can do neutral and up B, Luigi can do down B, and there are probably others too! I urge you to test this out with your mains. It's kinda cool!
