In a friendly setting, you can always just scold the MK after he nado spams too much and give him a lecture on banning MK.

In a tournament setting, you can punch the player while he is nadoing, and if the ref has a heart, he will take pity on you for having to fight the cheap ******* and pretend he didn't see anything.

Anyway, I'm not entirely sure exactly how useful PSC is, as there seem to be plenty of things about nado it can't prevent. What I would do is try for an USmash/BAir OoS, but it takes good timing and spacing. You can try to wait for an opening to jump/phantasm around them, and then (smartly) spam lasers to outprioritize further attempts. If they full out spam and use it 4-5 times in a row, then keep on them after knocking them down once and take advantage of nado's small startup lag until they figure out it isn't working and switch to a less gay tactic, like DAir camping or planking. On second thought, f*** it. Just punch them.

PSC (Power-Shield Cancelling) is a fairly recent discovery which is useful for beating out tornado. It wasn't discovered 3 years ago which is why people are discussing it now.

Also, it seems like you're assuming that everyone has been playing Brawl competitively since it was first released. It's very likely that someone asking for help with tornado is new to competitive brawl and thus might not know what the best course of action against tornado is. Getting juggled by tornado is a common problem all players have at some point whether it's in a friendly or at a tournament and it can be quite overwhelming when experienced for the first time. It's common for people to not know what to do against it and thus they come here to ask about it.

PSC isn't that great for Falco, his main problem is that he gets most when he's above MK or offstage recovering.

Purposefully go into Tornado, try to SDI the first hit, if that doesn't help you then DI away and try again.

falco's only got 2 transcending moves, b and down b. so those are the only ones that always beat nado.
if your above it and are positioned correctly you can do almost any aerial or skull jump.
the main thing though when being juggled is to just get back to the ground, and those other options generally dont work.
be extra cautious with your second jump. when your falling towards it fast fall airdodge is your best option really, i see dehf doing it constantly. remember mk can go up with nado alot easier then downwards, once you get past it punishing should be easy. since you only got 2 frames of vulnerability when landing, as long as you land before the air dodge ends and do something else right away.

MK shouldn't be using nado that much since lazer beats it, you should expect it only when being juggled/edgeguarded. If you are above him being juggled you can try to footstool it or hit mk through the center. If you are very close to him try attacking him, as nado has a good amount of start up lag and can be broken at the beginning. If you are offstage trying to recover either phantasm low and sweetspot the ledge with it or mix it up with firefox.

Also, I find that Falco has an easier time getting out of nado than many other chars, qcdi up and towards the center of the nado and mashing air dodge could get you out while giving you a chance to punish it.

If you are higher up why not just wait and phantasm to the ledge while they retreat back towards the middle? If you're under it time your double jump and work from there.

Idk, gotta learn from experience I guess.
