Honestly, the fact that he lied to us about the tournament pisses me off quite a bit. I'm not willing to go to a tournament (even if this was as big as like Apex or Genesis) when the TO flat out lies to his entrants.

And this tourney was gonna be small as hell anyways.

Abq Melee/Brawl tourney on the 18th (not sunday lol!) sund good to people? I can check with active, I'm going there soon (can't say for sure anything will happen until next year though :()

So, I'm guessing we'll have a smashfest/tournament sometime this month to make up for this failure.

Ok, **** me. This scares the **** out of me, but I have to do it. I'm going to say it.

Actually, I can't. I can't say it. I believe you guys are my friends. I hope that doesn't change.

I'm just going to share THIS with you guys. Maybe it'll explain it enough. I sure as hell don't want to explain anything. Dont even ask me. I just want to get this out now and get it over with.

Whatever. **** everything.

Don't be surprised if you don't hear from me for a while.

August, I'm going to write this post under the assumption that the link you posted is a reflection of your feelings. If I'm wrong, stop me now, ignore me, ignore this, don't read it, and we'll let the thread take its natural course :p

Among the many things that I felt upon reading that (confusion was a big one, as Zack and Niall mentioned!), my first and foremost thought was respect. To share something fairly vulnerable like that requires an incredible amount of trust, and I deeply respect you for that. Naturally, I have complete faith that everyone will approach this maturely, respectfully, sympathetically, and, above all, as friends.

I don't say this enough to you, or to anybody here for that matter, but I care about you. I'm sure for you to admit that, you had to muster up a lot of courage. There's probably tons of thoughts and uncertainties racing through your head right now, and you have to be honest with yourself. Don't continue escaping these, you have to figure out how to respond to them, whether by solving it on your own or by talking it out with somebody else. Not to mention that the financial distress makes this an even more difficult time for confrontation.

Likewise, I have full faith in you that you will take care of it (instead of brushing it off and dismissing it). If you want to talk, feel free to message me . . . via SWF, via AIM, via text, via phone, etc.

By the way, Zack mentioned some SSFIV thing going on this Saturday, and I guess I'm bringing all my TVs. You better come destroy me there; I might even have my new stick by then ;)

I like to imagine that individuals like the coach in that comic are essentially the same as these dudes, except instead of the Revolutionary war, they're reenacting the culture wars of the 50s and 60s. It's a war that reason and tolerance have already won decisively, so there's really no reason to feel bad or take **** for any given lifestyle choice (or non-choice as the case may be)
except pokephilia.

Also come to barfights, there's a $200 pot bonus. And Pi says he'll have an announcement tomorrow as well...my guess is Daigo will be attending!

In the kitchen making Dekar a sammich.
Neil hit it on the head August, we ALL care about you (except Zack because he is void of emotion or feeling) and are all here if needed, and here anyway even if we're not.

You better be on when I buy Trundle and really get to start trolling.

I was gonna come to bar fights, but then there were only 3 people signed up for blazblue.
Because BB is for casuals. Play a mans game. I'll give you a hint
Baiken is the best character in it

But at least people in CO play BB. Even before bb there were like 4 GG players.

Also, baiken is terrible, faust is best.

i know i know, just another pocket melee video from your friendly neighborhood neil
but this video is the kind of **** that makes you (it definitely makes me) question the limits of human ability and perhaps the future of professional melee
usually i just post falcon porn anyway, so hopefully this is at least somewhat refreshing

Mango is stupid good. It's kind of weird that he sandbags so much. Maybe he just doesn't like the pressure of always feeling like he has to win.
But yeah, I mean PP said that that was the only game that he won. And Mango beats on HBox every time they play friendlies (haven't seen their ROM 3 matches though, and apparently Mango loses).
What a crazy guy though.

At ROM 3 Mango sandbagged and got punished for it. What he told me was that he actually likes being pushed really hard to win. he missed that feeling of going to a tournament and being excited to get 5th place.

His Fox ***** HBox in their Apex MM after the tourney. And there were several of them hahahaha.

Mango beat up on Hbox in their apex MM's pretty easily. As hbox told me afterwards, that was the hardest matches he's ever played. And they both kept throwing money in the pile uping the stakes haha. There was a huge stack of ones that mango took by the end of it. Good **** to him.

And to be honest, I just don't think he gives a crap any more haha. That guy is too good, but he sucks *** at boxing XP

What I'm saying is, he got tired of people always expecting him to win. I think Mango misses the days when his matches were hype instead of just everyone giving him crap if he lost. He loses to Kage and everyone (and I mean everyone) in the smash community talked sooooo much crap about it. And it's like, jeez, he hasn't lost a tourney for like two years, does he really deserve to be **** talked?
I dunno, I feel Mango's frustration. And I also feel like he has sandbagged since ROM 2 when he lost to Kage.
