News anchor fired for a joke

Kimmo Wilska was reporting on misconduct of bars selling alcohol to drunk people and decided to make a practical joke on air.
After the insert ended, Wilska had an empty beer bottle in his hand and was acting like he was drinking from it.

The broadcasting company, YLE, apparently didn't think his joke was that funny and fired him later on the same day.

They have all right to, but come on it wasn't even that bad. He should have made it seem more like a joke than going back to the monotone voice though.

The bottle is nowhere near his mouth. It's so obviously a gag that I'm pretty appalled that he got fired for this.
