Borderline tier is a good idea but Olimar 2nd place bothers me. Ice climbers are better characters in my opinion the top 5 grouping i can agree with though.

Must say i'm unsurprised Falco and snake went down

Different interpretation of John#'s info and how much to weigh in on different tournaments I suspect.

And how exactly were the MUs weighted? Where is that list? Besides the fact that MUs themselves are debatable in any situation of course, I'm curious to see how that looks.
Marc just explained the specifics of how they were weighted and you can see the results in the excel file in the OP.

As for John#'s data, it was money earned/uses and then weighted for 12% of the data (which leaves 53% weighted for the BBR votes). Really everything about Snake, in America, pointed to a drop from results to people's perceptions of him.

And this is your BBR ladies and gents LOL

WHAT A JOKE

:phone:
God you're annoying.

Yoshi~
Moved up another 2 spots~!
As he should have.

Olimar too good.
Such an annoying character ._.

Okay.. I want the name of the members who decided to drop dk 5 spots, and I want them now. :glare:
DL the excel file, his MU scores and results data were lacking too.

Also, at everyone who wants explanations, first DL the excel file. Look at your character(s)' weighted MU numbers and results data. Most of the questions will be answered in there.

What what the? The discrepancy between Sheilda and Sheik is groooooss. How did that come to be?

I still don't understand why there needs to be a completely different character...

I mean, Sheik is out for 95% of the time, Zelda comes out and throws out kill moves hoping people run into it. That's about it, and that in itself is rarely done.

so mu's count for 35% in this list? O_o
Votes were 53%, matchups were 35% and the money data was 12%. The only issue is that once converted to the same scale, the impact of matchups was lessened somewhat because characters are overall further removed from the theoretical ends (no one comes even close to all +4 or -4 matchups).

What what the? The discrepancy between Sheilda and Sheik is groooooss. How did that come to be?
In votes and matchup spreads they were very close, but if you look at the money/popularity data, you'll find that Sheilda makes a lot more money than either Sheik or Zelda. I'm assuming John#s treated any mention of Sheilda as a completely separate entity. For next time, we should reconsider the merits of having the entry.

What the hell were you on while typing this post?
I laughed

Thank god he didn't rise above marth.
I would have been okay with it

I'd love to see the write ups. Its interesting to see the train of thought behind some of these character positions.
They're being worked on

Olimar is so gay
Yes, yes he is.

Welp, I am not happy. :|
So go win with DK and prove MUs aren't as bad as what the chart says.

Gotcha.

At first glance, the list made me laugh lot.
Then you explained it and made sense.
It's still stupidly funny.

GJ, you just made Olimar usage to rise and he'll become even more annoying.
At least, until next list comes.
