I remember seeing a Custom Stage Select Screen somewhere that had the stages reorganised and had the wi-fi waiting room on it but it had the menu icon from my music. but i can't find it anywhere...

is there a code that allows to play any random tune at any random time (would be even better if they could be preset)

Or one that increases the number of songs that a certain stage/menu can play?

Is there a type of SD card that works better than the others?

I have two SD cards both valued at 2 Gigs...so it's the GOOD kind that supports PSA files or whatever it is. Anyway...I noticed one of those SD cards FREEZES at startup when I turn on my Wii but the other one doesn't....they're both different brands.

The good one is San Disk and the 50%-at-startup-freezing one is called Transcend....

Is this known?

Could someone please help me find a code that makes the sandbag not appear in the wifi waiting room, I don't want any of the codes that replace stages with the waiting room, just one without the sandbag.

I just found today that I cannot surpass 256 lines of code. How to I get around this? (Why was that limit even there in the first place?)

Kinda off topic...

Question, don't hate me for asking this please but...
I looked every where and for the life of me, I can't seem to find
info on how to enlarge and stretch objects in a hacked stage builder.
Do I have to manually change the width and length of objects, and if so,
how do I go about doing that? It's old, I know, but I've looked for this
info for a while now (3 days in spare time) and I haven't found a thing...:(

Since I could not find any q&a threads, it'll go here:

How exactly do I edit my Brawl ISO? I have wiiScrubber 1.4 at the moment, but... I'm not exactly sure how I'm supposed to do it.

Thanks.

If you're trying to get ahold of the files inside for textures/whatever. Load your Brawl ISO using WiiScrubber. You should see partitions 0 - 13. Most of them are just virtual console games. Right click on "Partition: 1 - DATA (0) (Super Smash Bros. Brawl)" > Unencrypted Partition > Extract.

I believe the ISO I have is already scrubbed (it only has 2 partitions; 0:DATA and 1:VC GAME HA8E or something). but instead of Partition: 1 - DATA (0) (Super Smash Bros. Brawl) it says Partition: 1 - DATA (0) (BAD)... I tried extracting the DATA part, but nothing came out, not even an empty file.. :x

I don't know if this was posted or not, but I just recently got a texture hack for Castle Seige. Unfortunantly, every stage code list I get doesn't give the coding for Castle Seige. (As in STGBATTLEFIELD = Battlefield) Does anybody here know what the name for Castle Seige is?

STGEMBLEM.pac, STGEMBLEM_00.pac, STGEMBLEM_01.pac, STGEMBLEM_02.pac, and STGEMBLEM_03.pac are the names for each part of castle siege. the numbers are each part of the stage, I'm not sure what the one without numbers is.

The case of the .PAC makes no difference. I actually have some stages ending in .pac and some ending in .PAC. They all work fine. The thing that made stages not work for me when I tried the first time was that I didn't put them all in the melee folder, I just put them in the stage folder and the melee stages in the melee folder. They actually all go in the melee folder, regardless of whether or not they're melee stages.

Anyways, the reason I'm posting here is mainly to ask if there is anybody who can help me change the character icons during the battle. (Like the ones right beside % damage). I tried the search feature but honestly I didn't really know what to search, so I just tried CSP. If Brawl box or something is the only way to do that, can anybody link me to a good guide? Sorry if I'm kinda being demanding.

What type of file is a CSP? I know it can be .tga and stuff, but when it's on an SD card, where is it and how would I recognize it? How would I change a CSP without messing with all my other textures and things?

I have been searching all over and cannot find the answer.

Quick question, is there a website or thread that acts as an index to PSA character hacks?

I've seen a lot of individual threads and links that display one character and how his/her moveset has been changed, but is there anywhere I can go to see all of them?

I wouldn't even need all of them (because there are a lot of hackers that work on this stuff), but I would just like to be able to see a good majority of them.

Anyplace like that?

Brawl+

Well I just found out about brawl+ and I'm sorry that I'm posting on this site, but brawlplus.net is not allowing me to register for some reason.

But anyway, I followed all of their directions on that site and for some reason it is not working on my wii. I have the homebrew channel so I just followed the directions for that particular method. I have Gecko and then when I try loading the game, I get a black screen that says DSI exception. What does this mean and how do I fix this? I tried looking everywhere online for it and had no luck. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

I'd try either another version of Gecko or maybe a different RSBE01.gct. That file is no longer on that site.

I have a problem, and sorry if this has already been answered. I enable the codes through Code Manager. I then load up Brawl through Gecko, got my codes to work etc, etc. I only have one problem, which is; a few characters(EX/ Ganon) have auto L-canceling and I really don't want that. I just want it to read my "Character Textures". Is it a glitch of some sort? Does the .gct or text files have anything to do with it? Do I have to update my Gecko ? Will updating my Homebrew Channel do anything to help?

If you need information about my Gecko version and stuff they are:

Homebrew Channel: Version 1.0.3
Cheat Manager: Version 0.3
Gecko: Version 1.9

Please, please, please, help me out. I've done everything I could do. I still can't figure this out.

What do you mean a different RSBE01.gct ? I'm completely new to this and don't know any of the lingo. I also tried downloading the newest version of Gecko OS, and after a few attempts of it saying it couldn't find the game, it came up with the same error. If there is something I need to download, could you give me the link with detailed instructions or something? I'm sorry.

Question:

Is it possible and maybe even possible and easy to open an existing vBrawl Character .pac file and just extract frame data and hitbox size of vBrawl characters? Like if I wanted to truly know how long Ikes initial jab is....could I hack a file somehow to see that data that gets used to re-program Brawl+ hitboxes?

Cuz i wanna get frame data for some of my friends that still only play vBrawl

Does anybody have the code to replace New Pork City with the Online Practice Stage? (I sometimes play on Jungle Japes or Hanenbow so I'd rather not have them replaced.)

And does anybody have the code that turns the sandbag into a sticker or something else useless? I just got the SSE hacks and I'd prefer if there wasn't a sandbag on them, thanks guys!

I happen to use that code. The sandbag is a dollar bill from coin match mode.

I am looking for codes that:
- go to the main menu immediately when you load the game
- while at the main menu, pressing the B button does not send you to the "press start" screen

So no strap warning, video, or "press start".

Shield coloring code please?

with a bit of explaination on how to change color and stuff.
From the Brawl+ codes:

Colored shields [Phantom wings]

14000090 FF000000
140000A0 FF000000
140000A8 00000000
4A000000 80F59ED4
14000088 00FFFF00
14000090 0000FF00
140000A0 0080FF00
140000A8 00000000
4A000000 80F5A348
14000088 FAF9E100
14000090 FFFF0000
140000A0 FFFF8000
140000A8 00000000
4A000000 80F5A7BC
14000088 88FCAE00
14000090 00FF0000
140000A0 00C00000
140000A8 00000000

I know I saw one somewhere that allowed you to customize. The shields are made up of a few parts and you could choose colours individually.

Apparently, Gecko OS 1.9.2 is buggy and 1.9.3 gives random DSI exceptions but it shouldn't be a problem.

What do you mean a different RSBE01.gct ? I'm completely new to this and don't know any of the lingo. I also tried downloading the newest version of Gecko OS, and after a few attempts of it saying it couldn't find the game, it came up with the same error. RSBE01 is the SSBB NTSC-U (or American Brawl release) Game ID. RSBE01.gct is the code file that goes in a folder called "codes" in the root of your SD card. Gecko reads this file and applies the codes. If you have a non American release of Brawl you will have to get a different code set.

If you are interested in making your own .gct files so that you can do more than just Brawl+, you'll need code manager.

If it's auto L-cancelling, your gct file has an auto L-cancel code in it. If you JUST want textures...

i'm using a CSS that swaps ICs for SoPo. it works fine, except that my tag glitches permanently after the match ends. the result is a tag that has some of the original characters with some white blocks as well. i need the fix for this so it will stop glitching.
