I guess I haven't been following Melee for a little while, but why is Jigglypuff in S Tier and Marth down in A Tier? Last I remember Jigglypuff wasn't even in A Tier and Marth was one of the top 3 characters in the game.

i believe the fox/falco/puff thing was because of metagame trends. hbox was bodying everyone at that time, but since then, people have adapted to the matchup. people really thought she was that good before. fox and falco are still dominant, but i don't think puff deserves to be on par with them anymore.

i think puff is 4th or 5th. comparable tourney viability with Marth.

Marth has issues with Sheik and high level Falcos these days. it doesn't help that the only players that have successfully advanced his metagame within the last 4 years are M2K and Ice.

Now the way I view the zelda vs mewtwo debate is very simple

who is cooler

ok so mewtwo makes things float n ****. Has the COOLEST walking animation and has the sexiest voice in japanese.

Zelda has the best costumes, the sickest jab during a throw , and the manliest down air in the game BY FAR.

They both have awsome jabs
