If a smasher indeed spent hours upon hours of game play in single player mode, then we won't have any problem to agree upon item selections. Both of his dedication and skill won't allow him to be cheated out by any randomness during a match. Something which you clearly don't understand at all.

Umm BTW, does this mean that we are all agreeing on Leobenmc's speculation? We need new ideas, forum goers!!!

about that randomness.... isnt that still there in the form of random tripping?

In relation to the coin...It's just a way of casting your vote. Stage with the most coins is the stage that is picked. I don't think you have to actually pay to get a stage, and, from what I've seen, even playing Wi-Fi matches all day wouldn't decrease your total coin 'purse' by very much, if at all.
